Well go to where ya get rupies and get them and go back over and over but make sure they purple or red or yellow or blue i do this alot i have 1000 now.

Yes you can trade items.go to the travelers ship in the south western quadrant and defeat all of the monsters on his ship.he will give you a lot od valuable treasures.You can sell them in the rupee house on mercay island.

Hey, if you far wnough, you can go to Dee-Ess Island and play the goron game a lot of times to get great items/cash, the sell the items you get. That what I did and now ii have the highest amount of rupees you can get (and I'm really serious of this):9999. ...so yea.. =) hope you find this helpful!
