I do not have the game. I also plan to get it. I wanted to know... Is there any point if you played and beat Wind Waker? Why is this game so popular? Whats so great about it? Next to multiplayer, is anything different from WW? Does it keep the same Zelda Elements? Storyline? Should I get it?
It is a sequel meaning it takes place where ww left off so yeah there is a point.
I think its popular because 1) its zelda 2) the touch cocntrols.
Probably the controls.
The characters weapon way you move but it shares the same things that happened in ww
I does keep the element but nintendo didn't put as much depth into the storyline as in ww.
Well these are spoilers but You are sailing with tetra while looking for the haunted ghost ship but while sailing your ship is caught in a misty area and you encounter the ghost ship. Tetra goes aboard and gets into trouble and so link tries to jump onto the ghost ship but slips off the hand rail and washes up onto the shore of this games outset island, You meet your new fairy celia ar something like that, You then set you to find tetra but you need a ship and visiting adveturer (as well as coward) linebeck has a ship but is stuck in tho temple of the ocean king so once you rescue him he lets you use his ship (he comes with you though) once you find tetra on the ghost ship she has been turned to stone and the only one who can bring her back is the ocean king who is trapped in his temple by bellum a parasitic phantom enemy that drains the life force of living beings. (which is what happened to tetra) you then have to find 3 pure metals to create the legendary phantom sword (with a guy who looks like gannondorf) and once you do that you have to tracerse the temple of the ocean king with the phantom hourglass (presented earlier in the game) once you defeat bellum you return to the surface to find that he is not dead but has taken control of the ghost ship and you must wreak the ghost ship and go aboard to fight bellum but bellum sinks your ship and knocks link out Linebeck then uses the phantom sword to fend off bellum until link wakes up and then while giving link back his sword linebeck gets possesed by bellum turning him into this phantom looking enemy. I'm not gonna tell you the ending tho.
It is up to you if you want to get it its a quote "great game but only a good zelda"

I do not have the game. I also plan to get it. I wanted to know... Is there any point if you played and beat Wind Waker? Yeah, it's awesome. Why is this game so popular? 99% is done completely by the touch screen, and it has a ver good and long storyline. Whats so great about it? Great graphics, and the islands are there Next to multiplayer, is anything different from WW? Weapons, movements, even your sword is by touch Does it keep the same Zelda Elements? It has about the same Selda "Feel" Storyline? Great Should I get it? Without a doubt
It's also reasonalbly priced.
But yes the GT quote: "Great game, but only a good Zelda"
Is there any point if you played and beat Wind Waker?: It's better if you've beat WW, since it's a sequel. It's just another challenging Zelda game. Don't get me wrong, I love the game. Why is this game so popular? For one, it's zelda, two, it's new. Whats so great about it? The touch screen's pretty cool. Next to multiplayer, is anything different from WW? Yes. The touchscreen, sailing. Yes Does it keep the same Zelda Elements? I'd say. Storyline? I'll explain later Should I get it? I think if you have the money, yeah.
1) If you have played it, at least up to when you beat Gannon finally, it would give you an idea because this game comes after what happens in this game.
2) Zelda is a popular series for having its great puzzles as well as its fighting, just like the other series for being popular like Mario for being a great Italian plumber for being able to beat bowser, etc.
3) What I found great about this game was the mini-games, puzzles in the adventure and the multiplayer game (although, I did not play it much). Some of the mini-games you get is the Fishing, Rolling and Shooting.
4) You don't have a bait bag or put that thing on your head and wait for a seagull to get it (I thought that was the best thing ever in WW, even though I thought it made Link look a little strange). You can only use 1 item at a time, WW you use 3 items. You can customise the ship, you can't do it in WW, unless you count the cannon, sail and grappling hook (If you did change ship parts on the Red Lion, he wouldn't have his mind). And more like new weapons and etc. but too many to name, but I probably did name the main ones.
5)Of course it kept the Zelda elements, if it didn't, it would be like "The New Adventures of Link."
6)The Storyline is pretty easy to understand, except 2 thirds of the story is pretty much the main points from WW and the rest is about Tetra disappearing and Link trying to save her.
7) Its a really awesome game I recommend it to you, especially if you like using the stylus and puzzles. You'll have lots of fun getting rid of enemies. Theres also a number of walkthroughs you can find on this site, if you get stuck or get friendly help from us back on the forums or use the Question and Answers.
Wait a minute, you're not a mod here. How did you delete the post?
And you used less than three words. XD
To stay on topic, I recommend getting this game. It's awesome, and moar puzzles to solve and baddies to fight and even new Items to use makes this game worth getting.

Just find an old pen and take the ink thing out or find some other plastic thing with a nice point to use as the stylus. One of my sisters friend has this old pen that he uses for a stylus.
Yeah. That's what I thought. The only one that surpasses Zelda in number of games in that series is Final Fantasy. Fun games and all, but there are like seven or eight of them out.
