to put them all together you have to go to a workbench and craft them..but they are everywhere just look for them...

1.Introduction
================================================
Okay, so you decided to go for a nice, relaxing boat ride in the middle of the ocean, and probably
were looking to catch that world record breaking Monkeyface Prickleback while catching
a world record breaking suntan, when all hel..er..heck breaks out and you find yourself drinking
the cold and refreshing ocean water. Okay, not so refreshing, but definitely cold and not so
relaxing as previously thought. The ocean is more relaxing in a boat huh?
After many, many and pressumably, many more, hours of free-floating and being tossed around like a
rag-sim, you find yourself waking up on a sandy beach. Well, atleast the sun is shining and the sky
is blue and the scenery is one to match that of Hawaii. But this isn't your typical deserted island.
This is the one that good ole` Tom himself would have loved to been "Castaway" on! And who wouldn't??
Abundance of fruit, vegetables and wild animals to choose from, and let's face it, chickens these days are pretty wild.
Not to mention the radiant hot pools, tropical paradise scenery and monkey friends that are better than your
true friends back home...Nothing says "Best Friends Forever" more than a furry primate looking for bugs in
your hair and leaving you nice little surpises all bundled up in leaves...or wood...or whatever. Right??
So grab your trusty pocket-knife and roll of toilet paper cause we've got some surviving to do!

2.Your Future Awaits!
================================================
First things first, after loading your sims 2: castaway game,
you are given the opportunity to create your crew. You can play the game using just one sim character
but life in paradise can get pretty boring (Wilson isn't on this island we're afraid) and talking to monkies always
seemed to be alittle one-sided. Having additional crew members allows you to =
1. Boost your social skills by sim interaction.
2. Form a tribe by building the home tiki.
3. Assign specific tasks to the other crew member(s) after a tribe has been form.
4. Allows you to continue playing if you or they die. If you're the last sim left and death occurs, it's game over!
During the sim creation process, you'll able to define your sim's occupation, body characteristics, fashion appearance, personality and name.
Occupation, body and personality comes with their own in-game uses and modifiers so be sure to think things through!
The Occupation's available for selection are as follows:
Ranger = Gives you a boost in body skills
Teacher = Gives you a boost in logic skills
Mechanic = Gives you a boost in mechanical skills
Executive = Gives you a boost in charisma skills
Chef = Gives you a boost in cooking skills
Musician = Gives you a boost in creativity skills
Doctor = Gives you a boost in mechanical and logic skills.

3.We All Have Skills and We All have Motives.
================================================
Skills in Castaway are a very important aspect to the game. They are necessary, can be developed and are required to perform (or not perform) specific
tasks, jobs and abilities.
Just for you we have listed those skills and how to develop them and what they do to help.
-skills- -Icon Displayed- -Description-
Body = Flexed Arm = Required to perform alot of island feats such as climbing etc. Spearing fish and climbing trees will improve skill.
Charisma = Magnet = Ability to make friends and increases tribal success. Socialize with sims, animals and make-believe friends to improve.
Cooking = Pan & Bottles = Improves your meal quality and lowers the risk of fires. Cooking and harvesting improves skill.
Creativity = Paint Palette = Gives you more points when having fun
Logic = Puzzle Pieces = Used to aid building and island feats
Mechanical = Wrench = Allows you to build better items faster
Motives is what drives the sims and helps them to interact with their surroundings. Motives are those cute little white bubbles that show icons
and pictures. In Castaway, there eight (8) basic motives to drive your sims, keep them alive and happy...Or atleast, alittle happy.

Bladder = Toilet = Select the toilet paper in your inventory to reduce bladder meter.
Comfort = Chair = Laying in a bed or sleep mat, sitting on a chair, resting in hot pool, sitting next to fire raises comfort meter.
Energy = Bed = Sleeping in bed or sleep mat raises energy meter.
Environment = Room = Keeping surroundings clean and using higher quality items will raise the environment meter.
Fun = Music Note = Playing, dancing, viewing art, sitting in hot pool, make music raises fun meter.
Hunger = Knife, Fork & Spoon = cooking meals and eating fruits & vegetables will replenish the hunger meter.
Hygene = Shower Head = Swimming and sitting in hot pool will clean the sim and raise the hygene meter.
Social = People Talking = Interacting with monkies, other sims and make-believe friends will raise the social meter.

4.Sandy Wake-up Call - 1st Beach - Shipwreck Island
====================================================
So much for just being able to laze around all day doing nothing! There's still work to be done, food to gather, shelters to build and showers
to take...Yes, showers to take!
In all other sim games, work meant just that. Getting up and going to work to make a living and to pay bills. In castaway however, work means
surviving and doing what you can to ensure you live long enough to make a monkey friend and send an S.O.S to esape the inescapable island.
To survive, you must nourish yourself by eating, replenish your energy by sleeping and relieve yourself by going to the bathroom. Which in our
humble opinion, is the most important task of them all. But eating, sleeping and bathroom-breaks isn't enough. You also must build fires, shelters,
harvest surrounding elements and explore the island. All of which are extremely important if you wish to live.
After waking up on the beach, you'll be told that you have found "Moneywell's Big Book of survival", here you get to decide to either play the tutorial
or select free play mode. If you select free play you will be immediately told that your sim is now goal orientated because we all need goals even when
on a deserted tropical islands. Moneywell's book of goals includes:
1. Build a workbench
2. Cook a fish
3. Explore the jungle
4. Make a shelter
5. Greet a crew mate
6. Befriend your crew mate
7. Invite a sim into tribe
8. Find all crew mates
9. Assemble a radio transmitter
10. Send an SOS from high ground
11. Build a sea worthy boat.
You need to do a number of things before you will be allowed to leave the beach and explore the rest of your new island home. Here are some hints:
* collect all the driftwood you can find
* swim in the ocean and harvest clams
* collect as many banana leaves and bamboo as you can - trust us you will need alot of this stuff for shelters.
* Wander around the beach and collect food and identify new plants - to identify an unknown plant you must eat a little bit of them but beware, some foods
your sim wont like and you will see it a second time. First time you eat something edible, your Bladder motive will be unlocked and you will
periodically have to relieve your sim by selecting the roll of toilet paper from your inventory. Isn't it nice to have an unlimited supply of two-ply??
* Collect any messages in the bottles on the beach they are not only enlightening but you need the glass bottle for later so save the bottle(S).
* Collect clam shells.
So, the first objectives on your list to complete are the above listed.
During the collecting period (and during other game play) your sim will become tired and will need to sleep. Please note, inorder to leave the beach,
your sim's energy must be high. To sleep, select the "bed roll" from your inventory and if you want, speed time up until your sim is fully restored.
After collecting driftwood, head to the two up-right boulders at the back of the beach and select "build workbench" from the selection menu. The workbench
will unlock the ability to crafting menu where you will be able to craft your tools, shelters and hunting tools. Right now, at this time, you pretty
much will only be able to craft the fishing spear due to lack of resources and mechanical skills.
Inorder to unlock the path to the Deep Jungle section of the island, you must complete the following goals:
1. Build a workbench.
2. Craft a spear at the crafting table.
3. Catch a fish with the spear.
4. Build a simple campfire using the plans from your inventory.
5. Cook your fish and eat it.
After completing all the listed goals above, it'll be time to head to the DEEP JUNGLE. Make your way to the destination feet icon heading towards the
Deep Jungle and start up the pathway. You will go through the brambles, which will cut your sim's clothing, and enter the Deep Jungle. Entering the jungle
will unlock the ability to craft clothing for your sim.

4a.It's a Jungle Out There! - Deep Jungle - Shipwreck Island
=============================================================
AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Swing on some vines and pet a monkey! Here, you will be able to befriend our primate friends. Inorder to
befriend a monkey however, you must have a banana in your inventory. Click on a monkey and select "give banana" from the selection menu and the monkey
will take the banana and that will unlock the Social motive and the ability to socialize with the monkey which in turn will give you the opportunity to
make them your friends. We know, it's a viscious cycle of goodyness! We strongly suggest you do this, because the more monkey friends you have, the
more resources they will gather for you.
Special Resources available to be harvested in the Deep Jungle are:
1. Vines
2. Softwood (must have clam axe inorder to harvest)
Harvest the vines first. After harvesting vines, head back to 1st Beach, go to the crafting table and craft yourself the Clam Axe. The Clam Axe will enable
you to harvest the softwood. After you've completed the axe crafting, head back into the Deep Jungle and harvest yourself Soft Wood and anything else you
can harvest while there.
There will be skeleton in the bushes, don't worry about him it can't hurt you. He's merely sleeping..for a long long time. A Heiroglyphic Piece can be found near the
near the fireflies (glowing bugs).
After completing the harvesting of resources, head towards Pier Beach which you will see the path desginated by the rotating feet.
Items abled to be identified: Privet, star fruit, long beans, mandrake root, rumberries, machineel fruit, guarana.
Please note, harvesting rattan will unlock the ability to craft rattan clothing for your sim.

4b.Respect Your Piers! - Pier Beach - Shipwreck Island
=======================================================
When you arrive at Pier Beach you will find the book "Shipwrecked by Lord Reginal Stinkywyck". This book will give you more goals to complete such as,
1. Befriend a chimp (monkey).
2. Use a chimp (monkey) to gather resources.
3. Light a home torch
4. Build a bed.
5. Build a table.
6. Craft a shirt.
7. Build a raft.
8. Reach second island.
Most of the goals that are added to your already existing goals will be completed as the game goes on so don't worry about them now.
Here you will find your first statue down by the beach. Pick this up and place in inventory because you'll need to collect them all to complete one of your
goals. You will also find the second Heiroglyphic Piece on the beach by the pier. While here, harvest and collect all the resources you can such as
clam shells, driftwood, food etc.
Walk over to the pier and click on "Inspect Pier". This will unlock the plans to build a raft. You may be missing some resource as you will need
50 pieces of bamboo, 30 vines and 10 Palm Fonds (which can be found by harvesting them off of coconut trees.) You will also need, 2 mechanical skills and
2 body skills to craft the raft. If you are able to build the raft, DO NOT leave the island UNTIL you have been to Shipwreck Lagoon first because there is
more to the island!
Find and inspecting the bottles that wash up on the beach here is very important because one of them will contain a treasure map piece. If by some chance,
the bottle(s) are not there when you first arrive, keep exiting and re-entering pier beach until they appear.
once you've harvested and collect and finished inspecting the pier, head on over to Shipwreck Lagoon by following the path leading in that direction.
Items able to be identified: Ginger, blackberries and almonds.

4c.The Ship From the Black Lagoon! - Shipwreck Lagoon - Shipwreck Island
=========================================================================
While at Shipwreck Lagoon, you are going to want to harvest and collect all of the resources you find in the area.
The important part to this area is the ship. Head over to the ship and get aboard the ship and onto the deck. Here is where you will find the third
Heiroglyphic Piece.
For convenience purposes, you can build another workbench for crafting if you so choose to. It's not mandatory but it will help out with the traveling
distance to craft items.
We're done here, so it's time to head back to Pier Beach and build your raft, if you haven't built it already, because we're heading to island 2! Please
note, inorder to leave the island, your sim must have a full energy meter.
Also, remember, the raft travels between Pier Beach on Shipwreck Island and West Beach on Island 2 called Airplane Island

5.Life's a Beach! - West Beach - Airplane Island
===================================================================
Its a good idea to remember this beach because this is where your raft will wait for you to return to island one. Also, we highly recommend you build
a home camp on either of the two beaches (West or East) and befriended a chimp. They will leave packages around for you to inspect.
Make sure to collect all of the packages they bring you as one will contain a treasure map piece. You can make the home camp anywhere but your
transportation will be at either of the beaches and this is just more convenient.
First Thing you are going to find here is the log of the "Voyage of Beard Beard" with ... yeah .. even more goals to complete. These goals include:
1. Find the jungle
2. Find the cave
3. Find the river plains
4. Find the other beach
5. Catch a chickent
6. Hunt a boar
7. Fish a shark
On this beach you will want to harvest clams because one of them will contain a treasure map piece. If its not there the first time you arrive you just need to keep
harvesting - it will show up.
Collect more resources here, driftwood, clams, messages in the bottles and various food items. On the beach you will find a member of your crew - greet them and
get reunited, greeting them will unlock the ability to craft the daisy death potion in case on of you dies. This potion will bring you back from the dead.
On this beach you will identify - yams, taro, chili peppers, soybeans. From west beach you will travel to airplane jungle.

5a.In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle, the Airplanes Sleep Tonight! - Airplane Jungle - Airplane Island

As you continue to travel the island you will meet more of your crew or the same one over and over again, afterall they have nothing better to do but follow
you around.
Arriving in airplane jungle will unlock the comfort, fun and room motives.
You will see a crashed airplane, beside it is a radio, this is a great item to help meet your fun motive, make sure to add it to your inventory and carry
it around with you. You will identify sugarcane. There is also lots of softwood in airplane jungle.
In airplane jungle you will find the entrance to the dark cave, this is a great place to sleep if you dont have the ability to craft a shelter yet.

5b.Hey, Who Turned Out the Lights?? - Dark cave - Airplane Island
===================================================================
Arriving in the dark cave will open the ability to craft obsidian tools. There is obsidian in the cave but you wont be able to harvest it just yet.
Make sure you have a torch though because later it will show you where the obsidian is hiding.
You will find another Heiroglyphic Piece on the floor beside the ancient door. The ancient door is very cool but you wont be able to open it yet so
dont bother wasting your time staring at it, we will tell you later when you have the ability to open the door. Over beside one of the pools is another
statue, add it to your collection.
In the back of the cave is a steep passage to skull rock jungle but again your sim will need high energy to climb up.

5c.Boars and Chickens and Skulls OH MY!! - Skull Rock Jungle - Airplane Island
===============================================================================
Named because of the rock that resembles a skull, a bit of a deformed skull but a skull none the less.
In the jungle you will find another Heiroglyphic Piece laying beside the skull rock. The jungle is loaded with resources harvest to your hearts content, you
will find grapefruit and oranges and a clay deposit where you can harvest some clay for future use.
Harvest some Ti leaves as this will unlock the ability to craft Ti clothing. Watch out for wild boars they are running wild on the island. If one spots
you then you will have to fight it, the good news is that if you win the fight you will have a yummy ham. Fighting a boar and winning will unlock the
ability to craft boar clothing & build scarecrows.
Harvest sisal - you will need this material to craft rope and trust us you will need a lot of rope. You will also be able to identify garlic and harvest
tomatoes.

5d.Did You Know, If You Stand on Your Head and Face West, West is Up-Side-Down - West River Plains - Airplane Island

Arriving in west river plains will unlock the ability to build better shelters and craft better tools for farming. Here you will find "Moneywell's Big Book
of Surival 2" - oh goodie more goals, these ones include:
1. Plant a Crop
2. Harvest a Crop
3. Harvest an Egg
4. Build a Canoe
5. Reach the Third Island
The west river plains has alot of resources including: lemons, tangerines, rice, limes, peaches, blood oranges, cotton or corn. You will identify: turmeric,
mangosteens, breadfruit and carrots. There is alot of sisal here and remember you are going to need this to make rope.
You will see your first chicken here and if you have crafted a chicken trap you can try and catch one, if you do you have the choice to either eat it or
build a chicken coop and keep it as a pet. Gather the chicken feathers as this will unlock the ability to craft feather clothing.
You will be able to craft a bridge between west river plains and east river plains to do so you will need: 10 rope, 25 bamboo, 10 softwood, 4 mechical
and 4 logic. If you dont have these resources you can always crawl across the casum but this takes alot of energy.
There is hardwood and you will need the stone axe to harvest it, harvesting hardwood will unlock the hardwood crafting bench.
Time to head to East River Plains.

In East River plains you will find another Heiroglyphic Piece by the quicksand. You will notice another entrance behind the quicksand but you cant get to
it yet so again dont waste time looking at it, we will tell you later when you can return here to enter.
off of east river plains is the entrance to east beach and south river jungle.

5f.The Best Cook'n Comes From the South! - South River Jungle - Airplane Island
================================================================================
In south river jungle you will find another statue down on the beach, you will also find another Heiroglyphic Piece on the beach near the rock formation.
You will find another crashed airplane, harvest the vines in front of it because they are hiding a radio transmitter you can use to send an sos to
be rescued - but again not just yet. Why rush being rescued??

5g.1/4 Tablespoon of Active East, 3 Cups of Flour, 1 Cup of Water and You Have Bread! - East Beach - Airplane Island
=====================================================================================================================
Arriving on east beach will unlock new plans for home and decorations.
Walk over the the ancient pier and inspect it, this will unlock the ability to craft a canoe. To build a canoe you are going to need: 23 softwood, 20 bamboo,
10 rope, 5 body and an axe.
We strongly recommend that you build a shelter on airplane island, it helps your sim feel comfortable and if you have made friends with your fellow
castaways you can build a home torch and declare a home. You can then assign castaways roles in the tribe, such as cooking or gathering resources.
Planting crops is a good way to grow the resources you need, to plant a crop, go to your inventory and select a cultivated soil patch, to have this you will
need to have collected ash from one of your campfires. Select the cultivated soil patch, place it on the ground and the select plant a sprout, it will
grow and once you harvest it this will unlock more farming tools.
From East Beach, we are heading to Volcano Island. To go there, you must high energy level before you are allowed to Volcano Island.

5h.If I Close My Eyes, You Can't See Me! - Hidden Lagoon - Airplane Island
===========================================================================
Cannot enter until after visiting the third island "Volcano Island" and have found the crown behind the throne on volcano island and using the crown
to open the ancient door in the Dark Cave.
Once you have unlocked the Hidden Lagoon by visiting Volcano Island, use this section to help you with the Hidden Lagoon. Otherwise, skip to the next
section.
The lagoon is loaded with resources, harvest what you need. At the back of the lagoon is an entrance to East River Plains go through here.
You will find yourself on the other side of the quicksand we saw earlier. To the left is the last piece of the treasure map, you will want this.
To leave the area, walk over to the ancient statues and have your sim inspect them, they will push one over into the quicksand and make a bridge for
you to cross into east river plains from here.

6.The Lava Does Wonders for the Tan! - South Volcano Beach - Volcano Island
============================================================================
Once, you arrive here from East Beach off of Airplane Island, new shelter plans will be unlocked.
Here, you will find a book called "Bisquit Isles by Lord R StickyWick" which will present you with more goals to complete as follows:
1. Find a hot spring.
2. Find the Llama Temple.
3. Reach the volcano summit.
4. Find the other beach.
5. Find all four royal statues.
6. Repair the cerimonial forge.
7. Find the llama king's crown.
8. Perform a cerimonial cliff dive.
9. Enjoy the palace
Explore this beach as thoroughly as possible. There is quite a bit of resources included softwood for you to harvest.
At the back of the beach, there is a steep cliff which you can climb that will lead you to the rest of the island by unlocking those destinations, however,
in-order to climb this hill, you must be fully rested.
On the shore, behind the rocks, you will find the fourth statue piece.
After exploring and harvesting all the available resources, head to Volcano Jungle.

6a.All Daily Sacrifices Start at 3PM. Don't be Late! - Volcano Jungle - Volcano Island

Ok, glad to see that you've made it to Volcano Jungle. There is lots to do here, so make sure you explore every corner.
Once you arrive here, you will find a "Pirate's Guide to Retirement Manuscript" book which, again, will unlock more goals for you to accomplish. They are:
1. Build a cabin.
2. Build two cabin chairs.
3. Build a bungaloo
4. Build a lavish shower
5. Create a shell shirt
6. Use a bungaloo stove to make a feast
7. Find Beard Beard's chest.
Sounds pretty simple huh?
If you have the torch in your inventory as a tool, you can use it at the Honey Trees to smoke out the bees nested in them to harvest the Honeycombs
to eat. If you don't have the torch, then you'll have to wait to harvest the honeycombs until you do craft the torch.
On a back path above the treeline, you will find a hot spring. Get into the hot spring and you will find another treasure piece which "should" be the third
piece. If it isn't, don't worry as you can always go back and forth in the game until you collect them all.
Look closely in the grass by the upper hot spring and you will find the 8th Heiroglyphic Piece.
Since, we've done pretty much all there is to do here, we're moving to Geyser Plains

6b.The Grass Grows Faithfully on the Hour! - Geyser Plains - Volcano Island
============================================================================
In Geyser Plains, you will find one of the Ancient Doors but you cannot enter yet. Beside it, you will find the last Heiroglyphic Piece. Now you have
them all! Good job simmer!
Now what you need to do is build yourself another crafting bench (A.K.A workbench. This time, we do believe you need the Bamboo workbench. It's the one we
used anyway.), then click on the crafting bench and craft the hyorgrhics pieces together by selecting "Decorations" then "Ancient Stele". This will
allow you to unlock the Ancient Door you just found.
Go to the door and select inspect. Your sim will place the ancient stele into the door and it will open giving you access to it's many mysteries and
wonders behind it.
After the door opens, you will see a staircase immediately behind it. But your sim will not be able to climb the staircase yet, because as of now, the
staircase is considered "locked" because there are other parts of the island you need to unlock first.
Behind the big rock, you will see another entrance, but the open hot spring will prevent your access. What you need to do is run up the ledge behind
the hot pool and you will see a large rock. Your sim must have the rock chisel in their inventory and atleast a body of 8 for the following to work.
Click on inspect rock, and your sim will chisel the rock and the rock will fall into the open hot pool allowing you to cross to get to the other entrance.
But just like everything else, you must have a high energy level in-order to explore the rest of the island. So, if your sim is tired, refresh them up
sleeping in a good quality bed and eating a high energy meal and then try entering the door.

6c.The Wood Elves Build Toys for All the Good Little Boys and Girls! - North Volcano Jungle - Volcano Island

You can now travel to here at will, there is a great abundance of food resources and hot springs. This is an excellent location to build a base camp
as everything you need is all here. The hot springs help your sim refreash their hygiene and fun meter at the same time.
There are two new entrances here but both will reguire that your sim is fully rested, has all 10 body points and eats a perfect meal before
they can explore more of the island. Once you have all of these you can now travel the steep stairway location and enter the temple exterior.

6d.Oooooommmmmmmmleeeeeeeeeette - Temple exterior - Volcano Island

This is the llama people temple, here you can identify coffee and cocoa (finally) There are two more entrances here one to the temple interior and one
to the ancient theater. We are going inside the temple first.
Temple Interior
You find a long abondoned temple, in here you will want to run over to the ancient forge and repair it. this will unlock the plans to craft metal tools,
the ground will also shake because your actions have just caused a new island to rise from the sea beside pier beach. We will go there later we still
have work to do here.
On the floor to the right side of the thrones is a monkey horn, add this to your inventory for fun later. Run behind the throne and you will find a
llama crown laying on the ground pick this up, it is the key to the ancient door back in dark cave on airplane island.
There are two more hidden entrances behind the thrones, the one on the left will lead you back down the volcano jungle, remember that ancient door that
you could open but not travel? well this is what it lead to, the one on the right leads to volcano summit.

Here you will find deposits of ore and obsidian, harvest away to make your metal and osidian tools. Here you will also want to pull out that old airplane
radio you have been carrying around, click on repair radio and your sim will add the transmitter you picked up on airplane island, once together you can
send an SOS. A cruise ship will hear your SOS and rescue you and your ship mates and its back to civilization where all teh bills you collected while
lost at sea are waiting for you. You can either stay home or return to the island to explore more - we returned.
From Volcano summit travel back to the temple exteror and move to the ancient theater.

There is alot of resources to gather here. Straight ahead you will see the ceremonial cliff, make sure your sim has high energy cause you are going to
dive off this cliff into the lagoon below. Performing a ceremonial cliff dive will unlock clothing dye and face paint, you can now dye your sims
clothing and paint your body if you so wish.

6g.Keeps Whites White and Darks Dark! - Tidal Pool - Volcano Island

After taking that huge leap of faith, you land in a amaaazing lagoon and find another treasure map piece that a shark has nibbled a bit on but you can
still read it. Here you can gather more resources off the beach but your main task here is to go fishing - you want to catch a shark.
To fish pull out your bamboo fishing pole you have crafted and walk to the waters edge, click on catch a fish. Your sim will throw the line out,
watch the bobber as soon as it goes down reel it in, you may have to catch a few fish before you land the shark. Once you catch your shark you will
get another treasure map piece and you will unlock the ability to craft boar and shark clothing.
Swim in the water now because to the left is the last section of valano island called north volcano beach, you have now discoverd all of volcano island.

6h.Get A Crispy Tan On This Beautiful Ocean Front Property! - North Volcano Beach - Volcano Island

More resources on the beach, walk over to the statues on the beach, here your sim can craft a catamaran, to sail home, go ahead and craft it if you
have the resources but there is still more to do so dont leave yet.
Travel back to Pier Beach from here you can swim out to that new island that rose from the sea when you repaired the forge in the temple.

7.What?!? No Diamonds?? - Crystal Island - Volcano Island

This island is called crystal island and on it is a mud pit with another piece of treasure map.
Back on pier beach at the far end of the beach is a rock formation, you can now harvest pumice here. Once you're all done here, swim back to pier beach
and start heading towards the dark cave.

8.Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to the Cave We Go! - Dark Cave - Airplane Island

Lets go back to dark cave because you can open that ancient door now, have your sim inspect the door, they will then put on the crown you found in the
llama temple and open the door with their head. Weird I know but it works, the door open to reveals more sections of the island, you have now found the
hidden lagoon.

9.Solving the Treasure Map
============================
Once you have all the pices of the treasure map you will want to go back to west beach, in west beach there is a alcove in the rocks at the far end of the
beach, walk in here and go to the very back, you will find a large rock here, have your sim inspect the rock, they will then roll it away to reveal a tunnel behind.
Your sim is going to need high energy to explore the tunnel.
Explore the tunnel will lead you to a new beach, here you will see a beached ship, go aboard the ship to the rear and up the stairs, there is a treasure chest there
with beard beard's treasure, go ahead and open it, inside is a pirate sword and outfit. To the right of the beach is skull tunnel, you can explore this as well, it will
lead you back to skull rock jungle.
You have now found all of airplane island, You can now return to North Valcano beach and use your catamorane to sail back to civilization or you can stay
in your island paradise and build a new home for your sim.

11.Additional Hints, Tips, and Tricks
==========================================
1. Making friends is alot easier when done sitting by the fire telling campfire stories. The one(s) you are interacting with, don't move around so much.
2. Keeping your sim happy is the key to getting this done. If they're not getting what they want, they won't work.
3. If your sim starts to cry everytime you enter a new scene, it is because they are lonely. Have them interact with the monkies, make-believe friend or
other crew members to keep them from crying.
4. If you don't have enough resources to build an actual hut, then just build something that has a roof because this will keep your sim dry when it rains
and your sim will not sleep when it's raining on them.
5. Building a cabin will unlock the lavish outhouse and shower tools.
6. Build a chicken trap as soon as you can and leave it out for a few days to catch chickens.
7. The treasure map pieces may be random so just keep your eyes open. as we kept finding them after finding all of them in the locations described above.
Please note, we played the game through 3 - 4 times and found the pieces in the locations each time as described above.
8. Building a bungaloo will unlock the comfortable furniture plans.
9. Building a lavish shower will unlock stylish clothing and art.
10. To reach the "Cook a Feast" goal, you need to cook a perfect meal on the bungaloo stove.
11. To harvest and egg, you need to catch a chicken, build a chicken coup, add your chicken to the coup, serenade your chicken (as in sing to it), then
collect the eggs. Collecting the eggs will unlock the plans for fences.
12. To complete the "Enjoy the Palace" goal, you need to head to the Llama palace in the hidden lagoon on airplane island. This will unlock the tribal
clothing abilities.

1.Introduction
================================================
Okay, so you decided to go for a nice, relaxing boat ride in the middle of the ocean, and probably
were looking to catch that world record breaking Monkeyface Prickleback while catching
a world record breaking suntan, when all hel..er..heck breaks out and you find yourself drinking
the cold and refreshing ocean water. Okay, not so refreshing, but definitely cold and not so
relaxing as previously thought. The ocean is more relaxing in a boat huh?
After many, many and pressumably, many more, hours of free-floating and being tossed around like a
rag-sim, you find yourself waking up on a sandy beach. Well, atleast the sun is shining and the sky
is blue and the scenery is one to match that of Hawaii. But this isn't your typical deserted island.
This is the one that good ole` Tom himself would have loved to been "Castaway" on! And who wouldn't??
Abundance of fruit, vegetables and wild animals to choose from, and let's face it, chickens these days are pretty wild.
Not to mention the radiant hot pools, tropical paradise scenery and monkey friends that are better than your
true friends back home...Nothing says "Best Friends Forever" more than a furry primate looking for bugs in
your hair and leaving you nice little surpises all bundled up in leaves...or wood...or whatever. Right??
So grab your trusty pocket-knife and roll of toilet paper cause we've got some surviving to do!

2.Your Future Awaits!
================================================
First things first, after loading your sims 2: castaway game,
you are given the opportunity to create your crew. You can play the game using just one sim character
but life in paradise can get pretty boring (Wilson isn't on this island we're afraid) and talking to monkies always
seemed to be alittle one-sided. Having additional crew members allows you to =
1. Boost your social skills by sim interaction.
2. Form a tribe by building the home tiki.
3. Assign specific tasks to the other crew member(s) after a tribe has been form.
4. Allows you to continue playing if you or they die. If you're the last sim left and death occurs, it's game over!
During the sim creation process, you'll able to define your sim's occupation, body characteristics, fashion appearance, personality and name.
Occupation, body and personality comes with their own in-game uses and modifiers so be sure to think things through!
The Occupation's available for selection are as follows:
Ranger = Gives you a boost in body skills
Teacher = Gives you a boost in logic skills
Mechanic = Gives you a boost in mechanical skills
Executive = Gives you a boost in charisma skills
Chef = Gives you a boost in cooking skills
Musician = Gives you a boost in creativity skills
Doctor = Gives you a boost in mechanical and logic skills.

3.We All Have Skills and We All have Motives.
================================================
Skills in Castaway are a very important aspect to the game. They are necessary, can be developed and are required to perform (or not perform) specific
tasks, jobs and abilities.
Just for you we have listed those skills and how to develop them and what they do to help.

Body = Flexed Arm = Required to perform alot of island feats such as climbing etc. Spearing fish and climbing trees will improve skill.
Charisma = Magnet = Ability to make friends and increases tribal success. Socialize with sims, animals and make-believe friends to improve.
Cooking = Pan & Bottles = Improves your meal quality and lowers the risk of fires. Cooking and harvesting improves skill.
Creativity = Paint Palette = Gives you more points when having fun
Logic = Puzzle Pieces = Used to aid building and island feats
Mechanical = Wrench = Allows you to build better items faster
Motives is what drives the sims and helps them to interact with their surroundings. Motives are those cute little white bubbles that show icons
and pictures. In Castaway, there eight (8) basic motives to drive your sims, keep them alive and happy...Or atleast, alittle happy.

Bladder = Toilet = Select the toilet paper in your inventory to reduce bladder meter.
Comfort = Chair = Laying in a bed or sleep mat, sitting on a chair, resting in hot pool, sitting next to fire raises comfort meter.
Energy = Bed = Sleeping in bed or sleep mat raises energy meter.
Environment = Room = Keeping surroundings clean and using higher quality items will raise the environment meter.
Fun = Music Note = Playing, dancing, viewing art, sitting in hot pool, make music raises fun meter.
Hunger = Knife, Fork & Spoon = cooking meals and eating fruits & vegetables will replenish the hunger meter.
Hygene = Shower Head = Swimming and sitting in hot pool will clean the sim and raise the hygene meter.
Social = People Talking = Interacting with monkies, other sims and make-believe friends will raise the social meter.

4.Sandy Wake-up Call - 1st Beach - Shipwreck Island
====================================================
So much for just being able to laze around all day doing nothing! There's still work to be done, food to gather, shelters to build and showers
to take...Yes, showers to take!
In all other sim games, work meant just that. Getting up and going to work to make a living and to pay bills. In castaway however, work means
surviving and doing what you can to ensure you live long enough to make a monkey friend and send an S.O.S to esape the inescapable island.
To survive, you must nourish yourself by eating, replenish your energy by sleeping and relieve yourself by going to the bathroom. Which in our
humble opinion, is the most important task of them all. But eating, sleeping and bathroom-breaks isn't enough. You also must build fires, shelters,
harvest surrounding elements and explore the island. All of which are extremely important if you wish to live.
After waking up on the beach, you'll be told that you have found "Moneywell's Big Book of survival", here you get to decide to either play the tutorial
or select free play mode. If you select free play you will be immediately told that your sim is now goal orientated because we all need goals even when
on a deserted tropical islands. Moneywell's book of goals includes:
1. Build a workbench
2. Cook a fish
3. Explore the jungle
4. Make a shelter
5. Greet a crew mate
6. Befriend your crew mate
7. Invite a sim into tribe
8. Find all crew mates
9. Assemble a radio transmitter
10. Send an SOS from high ground
11. Build a sea worthy boat.
You need to do a number of things before you will be allowed to leave the beach and explore the rest of your new island home. Here are some hints:
* collect all the driftwood you can find
* swim in the ocean and harvest clams
* collect as many banana leaves and bamboo as you can - trust us you will need alot of this stuff for shelters.
* Wander around the beach and collect food and identify new plants - to identify an unknown plant you must eat a little bit of them but beware, some foods
your sim wont like and you will see it a second time. First time you eat something edible, your Bladder motive will be unlocked and you will
periodically have to relieve your sim by selecting the roll of toilet paper from your inventory. Isn't it nice to have an unlimited supply of two-ply??
* Collect any messages in the bottles on the beach they are not only enlightening but you need the glass bottle for later so save the bottle(S).
* Collect clam shells.
So, the first objectives on your list to complete are the above listed.
During the collecting period (and during other game play) your sim will become tired and will need to sleep. Please note, inorder to leave the beach,
your sim's energy must be high. To sleep, select the "bed roll" from your inventory and if you want, speed time up until your sim is fully restored.
After collecting driftwood, head to the two up-right boulders at the back of the beach and select "build workbench" from the selection menu. The workbench
will unlock the ability to crafting menu where you will be able to craft your tools, shelters and hunting tools. Right now, at this time, you pretty
much will only be able to craft the fishing spear due to lack of resources and mechanical skills.
Inorder to unlock the path to the Deep Jungle section of the island, you must complete the following goals:
1. Build a workbench.
2. Craft a spear at the crafting table.
3. Catch a fish with the spear.
4. Build a simple campfire using the plans from your inventory.
5. Cook your fish and eat it.
After completing all the listed goals above, it'll be time to head to the DEEP JUNGLE. Make your way to the destination feet icon heading towards the
Deep Jungle and start up the pathway. You will go through the brambles, which will cut your sim's clothing, and enter the Deep Jungle. Entering the jungle
will unlock the ability to craft clothing for your sim.

4a.It's a Jungle Out There! - Deep Jungle - Shipwreck Island
=============================================================
AAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Swing on some vines and pet a monkey! Here, you will be able to befriend our primate friends. Inorder to
befriend a monkey however, you must have a banana in your inventory. Click on a monkey and select "give banana" from the selection menu and the monkey
will take the banana and that will unlock the Social motive and the ability to socialize with the monkey which in turn will give you the opportunity to
make them your friends. We know, it's a viscious cycle of goodyness! We strongly suggest you do this, because the more monkey friends you have, the
more resources they will gather for you.
Special Resources available to be harvested in the Deep Jungle are:
1. Vines
2. Softwood (must have clam axe inorder to harvest)
Harvest the vines first. After harvesting vines, head back to 1st Beach, go to the crafting table and craft yourself the Clam Axe. The Clam Axe will enable
you to harvest the softwood. After you've completed the axe crafting, head back into the Deep Jungle and harvest yourself Soft Wood and anything else you
can harvest while there.
There will be skeleton in the bushes, don't worry about him it can't hurt you. He's merely sleeping..for a long long time. A Heiroglyphic Piece can be found near the
near the fireflies (glowing bugs).
After completing the harvesting of resources, head towards Pier Beach which you will see the path desginated by the rotating feet.
Items abled to be identified: Privet, star fruit, long beans, mandrake root, rumberries, machineel fruit, guarana.
Please note, harvesting rattan will unlock the ability to craft rattan clothing for your sim.

4b.Respect Your Piers! - Pier Beach - Shipwreck Island
=======================================================
When you arrive at Pier Beach you will find the book "Shipwrecked by Lord Reginal Stinkywyck". This book will give you more goals to complete such as,
1. Befriend a chimp (monkey).
2. Use a chimp (monkey) to gather resources.
3. Light a home torch
4. Build a bed.
5. Build a table.
6. Craft a shirt.
7. Build a raft.
8. Reach second island.
Most of the goals that are added to your already existing goals will be completed as the game goes on so don't worry about them now.
Here you will find your first statue down by the beach. Pick this up and place in inventory because you'll need to collect them all to complete one of your
goals. You will also find the second Heiroglyphic Piece on the beach by the pier. While here, harvest and collect all the resources you can such as
clam shells, driftwood, food etc.
Walk over to the pier and click on "Inspect Pier". This will unlock the plans to build a raft. You may be missing some resource as you will need
50 pieces of bamboo, 30 vines and 10 Palm Fonds (which can be found by harvesting them off of coconut trees.) You will also need, 2 mechanical skills and
2 body skills to craft the raft. If you are able to build the raft, DO NOT leave the island UNTIL you have been to Shipwreck Lagoon first because there is
more to the island!
Find and inspecting the bottles that wash up on the beach here is very important because one of them will contain a treasure map piece. If by some chance,
the bottle(s) are not there when you first arrive, keep exiting and re-entering pier beach until they appear.
once you've harvested and collect and finished inspecting the pier, head on over to Shipwreck Lagoon by following the path leading in that direction.
Items able to be identified: Ginger, blackberries and almonds.

4c.The Ship From the Black Lagoon! - Shipwreck Lagoon - Shipwreck Island
=========================================================================
While at Shipwreck Lagoon, you are going to want to harvest and collect all of the resources you find in the area.
The important part to this area is the ship. Head over to the ship and get aboard the ship and onto the deck. Here is where you will find the third
Heiroglyphic Piece.
For convenience purposes, you can build another workbench for crafting if you so choose to. It's not mandatory but it will help out with the traveling
distance to craft items.
We're done here, so it's time to head back to Pier Beach and build your raft, if you haven't built it already, because we're heading to island 2! Please
note, inorder to leave the island, your sim must have a full energy meter.
Also, remember, the raft travels between Pier Beach on Shipwreck Island and West Beach on Island 2 called Airplane Island

5.Life's a Beach! - West Beach - Airplane Island
===================================================================
Its a good idea to remember this beach because this is where your raft will wait for you to return to island one. Also, we highly recommend you build
a home camp on either of the two beaches (West or East) and befriended a chimp. They will leave packages around for you to inspect.
Make sure to collect all of the packages they bring you as one will contain a treasure map piece. You can make the home camp anywhere but your
transportation will be at either of the beaches and this is just more convenient.
First Thing you are going to find here is the log of the "Voyage of Beard Beard" with ... yeah .. even more goals to complete. These goals include:
1. Find the jungle
2. Find the cave
3. Find the river plains
4. Find the other beach
5. Catch a chickent
6. Hunt a boar
7. Fish a shark
On this beach you will want to harvest clams because one of them will contain a treasure map piece. If its not there the first time you arrive you just need to keep
harvesting - it will show up.
Collect more resources here, driftwood, clams, messages in the bottles and various food items. On the beach you will find a member of your crew - greet them and
get reunited, greeting them will unlock the ability to craft the daisy death potion in case on of you dies. This potion will bring you back from the dead.
On this beach you will identify - yams, taro, chili peppers, soybeans. From west beach you will travel to airplane jungle.

5a.In the Jungle, the Mighty Jungle, the Airplanes Sleep Tonight! - Airplane Jungle - Airplane Island
=======================================================================================================
As you continue to travel the island you will meet more of your crew or the same one over and over again, afterall they have nothing better to do but follow
you around.
Arriving in airplane jungle will unlock the comfort, fun and room motives.
You will see a crashed airplane, beside it is a radio, this is a great item to help meet your fun motive, make sure to add it to your inventory and carry
it around with you. You will identify sugarcane. There is also lots of softwood in airplane jungle.
In airplane jungle you will find the entrance to the dark cave, this is a great place to sleep if you dont have the ability to craft a shelter yet.

5b.Hey, Who Turned Out the Lights?? - Dark cave - Airplane Island
===================================================================
Arriving in the dark cave will open the ability to craft obsidian tools. There is obsidian in the cave but you wont be able to harvest it just yet.
Make sure you have a torch though because later it will show you where the obsidian is hiding.
You will find another Heiroglyphic Piece on the floor beside the ancient door. The ancient door is very cool but you wont be able to open it yet so
dont bother wasting your time staring at it, we will tell you later when you have the ability to open the door. Over beside one of the pools is another
statue, add it to your collection.
In the back of the cave is a steep passage to skull rock jungle but again your sim will need high energy to climb up.

Named because of the rock that resembles a skull, a bit of a deformed skull but a skull none the less.
In the jungle you will find another Heiroglyphic Piece laying beside the skull rock. The jungle is loaded with resources harvest to your hearts content, you
will find grapefruit and oranges and a clay deposit where you can harvest some clay for future use.
Harvest some Ti leaves as this will unlock the ability to craft Ti clothing. Watch out for wild boars they are running wild on the island. If one spots
you then you will have to fight it, the good news is that if you win the fight you will have a yummy ham. Fighting a boar and winning will unlock the
ability to craft boar clothing & build scarecrows.
Harvest sisal - you will need this material to craft rope and trust us you will need a lot of rope. You will also be able to identify garlic and harvest
tomatoes.

5d.Did You Know, If You Stand on Your Head and Face West, West is Up-Side-Down - West River Plains - Airplane Island

Arriving in west river plains will unlock the ability to build better shelters and craft better tools for farming. Here you will find "Moneywell's Big Book
of Surival 2" - oh goodie more goals, these ones include:
1. Plant a Crop
2. Harvest a Crop
3. Harvest an Egg
4. Build a Canoe
5. Reach the Third Island
The west river plains has alot of resources including: lemons, tangerines, rice, limes, peaches, blood oranges, cotton or corn. You will identify: turmeric,
mangosteens, breadfruit and carrots. There is alot of sisal here and remember you are going to need this to make rope.
You will see your first chicken here and if you have crafted a chicken trap you can try and catch one, if you do you have the choice to either eat it or
build a chicken coop and keep it as a pet. Gather the chicken feathers as this will unlock the ability to craft feather clothing.
You will be able to craft a bridge between west river plains and east river plains to do so you will need: 10 rope, 25 bamboo, 10 softwood, 4 mechical
and 4 logic. If you dont have these resources you can always crawl across the casum but this takes alot of energy.
There is hardwood and you will need the stone axe to harvest it, harvesting hardwood will unlock the hardwood crafting bench.
Time to head to East River Plains.

In East River plains you will find another Heiroglyphic Piece by the quicksand. You will notice another entrance behind the quicksand but you cant get to
it yet so again dont waste time looking at it, we will tell you later when you can return here to enter.
off of east river plains is the entrance to east beach and south river jungle.

5f.The Best Cook'n Comes From the South! - South River Jungle - Airplane Island

In south river jungle you will find another statue down on the beach, you will also find another Heiroglyphic Piece on the beach near the rock formation.
You will find another crashed airplane, harvest the vines in front of it because they are hiding a radio transmitter you can use to send an sos to
be rescued - but again not just yet. Why rush being rescued??

5g.1/4 Tablespoon of Active East, 3 Cups of Flour, 1 Cup of Water and You Have Bread! - East Beach - Airplane Island

Arriving on east beach will unlock new plans for home and decorations.
Walk over the the ancient pier and inspect it, this will unlock the ability to craft a canoe. To build a canoe you are going to need: 23 softwood, 20 bamboo,
10 rope, 5 body and an axe.
We strongly recommend that you build a shelter on airplane island, it helps your sim feel comfortable and if you have made friends with your fellow
castaways you can build a home torch and declare a home. You can then assign castaways roles in the tribe, such as cooking or gathering resources.
Planting crops is a good way to grow the resources you need, to plant a crop, go to your inventory and select a cultivated soil patch, to have this you will
need to have collected ash from one of your campfires. Select the cultivated soil patch, place it on the ground and the select plant a sprout, it will
grow and once you harvest it this will unlock more farming tools.
From East Beach, we are heading to Volcano Island. To go there, you must high energy level before you are allowed to Volcano Island.

Cannot enter until after visiting the third island "Volcano Island" and have found the crown behind the throne on volcano island and using the crown
to open the ancient door in the Dark Cave.
Once you have unlocked the Hidden Lagoon by visiting Volcano Island, use this section to help you with the Hidden Lagoon. Otherwise, skip to the next
section.
The lagoon is loaded with resources, harvest what you need. At the back of the lagoon is an entrance to East River Plains go through here.
You will find yourself on the other side of the quicksand we saw earlier. To the left is the last piece of the treasure map, you will want this.
To leave the area, walk over to the ancient statues and have your sim inspect them, they will push one over into the quicksand and make a bridge for
you to cross into east river plains from here.

6.The Lava Does Wonders for the Tan! - South Volcano Beach - Volcano Island

Once, you arrive here from East Beach off of Airplane Island, new shelter plans will be unlocked.
Here, you will find a book called "Bisquit Isles by Lord R StickyWick" which will present you with more goals to complete as follows:
1. Find a hot spring.
2. Find the Llama Temple.
3. Reach the volcano summit.
4. Find the other beach.
5. Find all four royal statues.
6. Repair the cerimonial forge.
7. Find the llama king's crown.
8. Perform a cerimonial cliff dive.
9. Enjoy the palace
Explore this beach as thoroughly as possible. There is quite a bit of resources included softwood for you to harvest.
At the back of the beach, there is a steep cliff which you can climb that will lead you to the rest of the island by unlocking those destinations, however,
in-order to climb this hill, you must be fully rested.
On the shore, behind the rocks, you will find the fourth statue piece.
After exploring and harvesting all the available resources, head to Volcano Jungle.

Ok, glad to see that you've made it to Volcano Jungle. There is lots to do here, so make sure you explore every corner.
Once you arrive here, you will find a "Pirate's Guide to Retirement Manuscript" book which, again, will unlock more goals for you to accomplish. They are:
1. Build a cabin.
2. Build two cabin chairs.
3. Build a bungaloo
4. Build a lavish shower
5. Create a shell shirt
6. Use a bungaloo stove to make a feast
7. Find Beard Beard's chest.
Sounds pretty simple huh?
If you have the torch in your inventory as a tool, you can use it at the Honey Trees to smoke out the bees nested in them to harvest the Honeycombs
to eat. If you don't have the torch, then you'll have to wait to harvest the honeycombs until you do craft the torch.
On a back path above the treeline, you will find a hot spring. Get into the hot spring and you will find another treasure piece which "should" be the third
piece. If it isn't, don't worry as you can always go back and forth in the game until you collect them all.
Look closely in the grass by the upper hot spring and you will find the 8th Heiroglyphic Piece.
Since, we've done pretty much all there is to do here, we're moving to Geyser Plains

6b.The Grass Grows Faithfully on the Hour! - Geyser Plains - Volcano Island

In Geyser Plains, you will find one of the Ancient Doors but you cannot enter yet. Beside it, you will find the last Heiroglyphic Piece. Now you have
them all! Good job simmer!
Now what you need to do is build yourself another crafting bench (A.K.A workbench. This time, we do believe you need the Bamboo workbench. It's the one we
used anyway.), then click on the crafting bench and craft the hyorgrhics pieces together by selecting "Decorations" then "Ancient Stele". This will
allow you to unlock the Ancient Door you just found.
Go to the door and select inspect. Your sim will place the ancient stele into the door and it will open giving you access to it's many mysteries and
wonders behind it.
After the door opens, you will see a staircase immediately behind it. But your sim will not be able to climb the staircase yet, because as of now, the
staircase is considered "locked" because there are other parts of the island you need to unlock first.
Behind the big rock, you will see another entrance, but the open hot spring will prevent your access. What you need to do is run up the ledge behind
the hot pool and you will see a large rock. Your sim must have the rock chisel in their inventory and atleast a body of 8 for the following to work.
Click on inspect rock, and your sim will chisel the rock and the rock will fall into the open hot pool allowing you to cross to get to the other entrance.
But just like everything else, you must have a high energy level in-order to explore the rest of the island. So, if your sim is tired, refresh them up
sleeping in a good quality bed and eating a high energy meal and then try entering the door.

6c.The Wood Elves Build Toys for All the Good Little Boys and Girls! - North Volcano Jungle - Volcano Island

You can now travel to here at will, there is a great abundance of food resources and hot springs. This is an excellent location to build a base camp
as everything you need is all here. The hot springs help your sim refreash their hygiene and fun meter at the same time.
There are two new entrances here but both will reguire that your sim is fully rested, has all 10 body points and eats a perfect meal before
they can explore more of the island. Once you have all of these you can now travel the steep stairway location and enter the temple exterior.

6d.Oooooommmmmmmmleeeeeeeeeette - Temple exterior - Volcano Island

This is the llama people temple, here you can identify coffee and cocoa (finally) There are two more entrances here one to the temple interior and one
to the ancient theater. We are going inside the temple first.
Temple Interior
You find a long abondoned temple, in here you will want to run over to the ancient forge and repair it. this will unlock the plans to craft metal tools,
the ground will also shake because your actions have just caused a new island to rise from the sea beside pier beach. We will go there later we still
have work to do here.
On the floor to the right side of the thrones is a monkey horn, add this to your inventory for fun later. Run behind the throne and you will find a
llama crown laying on the ground pick this up, it is the key to the ancient door back in dark cave on airplane island.
There are two more hidden entrances behind the thrones, the one on the left will lead you back down the volcano jungle, remember that ancient door that
you could open but not travel? well this is what it lead to, the one on the right leads to volcano summit.

Here you will find deposits of ore and obsidian, harvest away to make your metal and osidian tools. Here you will also want to pull out that old airplane
radio you have been carrying around, click on repair radio and your sim will add the transmitter you picked up on airplane island, once together you can
send an SOS. A cruise ship will hear your SOS and rescue you and your ship mates and its back to civilization where all teh bills you collected while
lost at sea are waiting for you. You can either stay home or return to the island to explore more - we returned.
From Volcano summit travel back to the temple exteror and move to the ancient theater.

There is alot of resources to gather here. Straight ahead you will see the ceremonial cliff, make sure your sim has high energy cause you are going to
dive off this cliff into the lagoon below. Performing a ceremonial cliff dive will unlock clothing dye and face paint, you can now dye your sims
clothing and paint your body if you so wish.

6g.Keeps Whites White and Darks Dark! - Tidal Pool - Volcano Island

After taking that huge leap of faith, you land in a amaaazing lagoon and find another treasure map piece that a shark has nibbled a bit on but you can
still read it. Here you can gather more resources off the beach but your main task here is to go fishing - you want to catch a shark.
To fish pull out your bamboo fishing pole you have crafted and walk to the waters edge, click on catch a fish. Your sim will throw the line out,
watch the bobber as soon as it goes down reel it in, you may have to catch a few fish before you land the shark. Once you catch your shark you will
get another treasure map piece and you will unlock the ability to craft boar and shark clothing.
Swim in the water now because to the left is the last section of valano island called north volcano beach, you have now discoverd all of volcano island.

6h.Get A Crispy Tan On This Beautiful Ocean Front Property! - North Volcano Beach - Volcano Island

More resources on the beach, walk over to the statues on the beach, here your sim can craft a catamaran, to sail home, go ahead and craft it if you
have the resources but there is still more to do so dont leave yet.
Travel back to Pier Beach from here you can swim out to that new island that rose from the sea when you repaired the forge in the temple.

This island is called crystal island and on it is a mud pit with another piece of treasure map.
Back on pier beach at the far end of the beach is a rock formation, you can now harvest pumice here. Once you're all done here, swim back to pier beach
and start heading towards the dark cave.

8.Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It's Back to the Cave We Go! - Dark Cave - Airplane Island

Lets go back to dark cave because you can open that ancient door now, have your sim inspect the door, they will then put on the crown you found in the
llama temple and open the door with their head. Weird I know but it works, the door open to reveals more sections of the island, you have now found the
hidden lagoon.

9.Solving the Treasure Map
============================
Once you have all the pices of the treasure map you will want to go back to west beach, in west beach there is a alcove in the rocks at the far end of the
beach, walk in here and go to the very back, you will find a large rock here, have your sim inspect the rock, they will then roll it away to reveal a tunnel behind.
Your sim is going to need high energy to explore the tunnel.
Explore the tunnel will lead you to a new beach, here you will see a beached ship, go aboard the ship to the rear and up the stairs, there is a treasure chest there
with beard beard's treasure, go ahead and open it, inside is a pirate sword and outfit. To the right of the beach is skull tunnel, you can explore this as well, it will
lead you back to skull rock jungle.
You have now found all of airplane island, You can now return to North Valcano beach and use your catamorane to sail back to civilization or you can stay
in your island paradise and build a new home for your sim.

11.Additional Hints, Tips, and Tricks
==========================================
1. Making friends is alot easier when done sitting by the fire telling campfire stories. The one(s) you are interacting with, don't move around so much.
2. Keeping your sim happy is the key to getting this done. If they're not getting what they want, they won't work.
3. If your sim starts to cry everytime you enter a new scene, it is because they are lonely. Have them interact with the monkies, make-believe friend or
other crew members to keep them from crying.
4. If you don't have enough resources to build an actual hut, then just build something that has a roof because this will keep your sim dry when it rains
and your sim will not sleep when it's raining on them.
5. Building a cabin will unlock the lavish outhouse and shower tools.
6. Build a chicken trap as soon as you can and leave it out for a few days to catch chickens.
7. The treasure map pieces may be random so just keep your eyes open. as we kept finding them after finding all of them in the locations described above.
Please note, we played the game through 3 - 4 times and found the pieces in the locations each time as described above.
8. Building a bungaloo will unlock the comfortable furniture plans.
9. Building a lavish shower will unlock stylish clothing and art.
10. To reach the "Cook a Feast" goal, you need to cook a perfect meal on the bungaloo stove.
11. To harvest and egg, you need to catch a chicken, build a chicken coup, add your chicken to the coup, serenade your chicken (as in sing to it), then
collect the eggs. Collecting the eggs will unlock the plans for fences.
12. To complete the "Enjoy the Palace" goal, you need to head to the Llama palace in the hidden lagoon on airplane island. This will unlock the tribal
clothing abilities.
