It's been 2 days but my house is still under construction. What the hell.

I need to employ atleast 2 sims. Firefighters..but for that first, I need to build a firehouse and for that I need 12 sims and I currently have only 9 sims. And I added a new sim.... The 10 th sim but the house is not getting ready only. How do I advance ? I am stuck with the unconstructed house and I can't add more sims bcoz of that. Helpppppp!

I have the exact same problem! I'm trying to add my 10th sim too but it's stuck. I've been screwing with the time so maybe that's what caused it? What to do?
