Stores in Sims Freeplay

I've seen people on here talking about brocery stores and night clubs and all that other stuff. how do i get other building in my town besides the fire station,a art center, a muesum, a sience lab, lots of housers and epity places?

I have nothing other than houses! I have never seen offer/chance to build store, fire station, museum, etc. Nothing! Help please! PS. I'm on level 20 with 10 Sims.

I have the same problem. On level 24 with 14 sims but bubbles or logos have never shown up to click on to start building park or workplaces. Have downloaded game over and over, cleared out my I phone to make lots of space for the game but still no luck getting the full game to appear. The only shop I have is the beauty salon which came with the game. Also noticed looking at screenshots of other players games that the layout of bubbles for the sims needs is different than mine. Would love to get an answer to this so I could get my sims going to work instead of just gardening all day.

i have the same thing.. We play with my daughter on iPhone and iPad. So everything works good for iPad. She has build Firestation, Pet shop and school. She's on level 12 with 6 sims. I'm on the level 20 with 11 sims and stuck on "build a workplace" task. The worst part of it - i can't find anywhere the way to fix this. Everyone asks about babies, marriage and other things that my 6 year old daughter did without reading the "bubbles"... still searching for the key..
