I'm stuck on making the double shot coffee. When I try to get any of my sims to make it they shake their head no, I even got an expensive coffee maker. But it doesn't work. HELP!!

Help! My goal is to get 10 sims gardening at once anywhere in the town. I have completed this task several times, but the game does not recognise this and therefore leaves it as my goal. I have tried shutting down the game and restarting it and so on, but nothing seems to work. Please Help!

Help my goal is to spend $8000 on pool acessories and there is a note saying go into the house bit where you buy stuff and select the garden things and then the outdoor things I did this and it didn't work by the way I can use 5 life style point either the reward is $1 can any help or is anyone stuck on the same thing????
