Ok, I really need a complete answer. I go to the stage, and try to put a TV on it (The raised wooden part, AND the carpet) put it says I can't put the item there. Also, I only have to attend the play. HELP!

Maybe the TV is too big. It's also expensive, and you won't get it back afterwards.
I usually put my own paintings or posters on the screen itself (it holds 3 or 4) and small stuff like gnomes or candy canes on the wooden part of the stage. You might also try one of the small carvings from free redwood.
