Ok, I've been playing around with it for a few minutes now, and here?s a list:
- you can now go back to the start page at any time, then close it out and go strait back to the page you were on.
- There is now a ?search? function on the toolbar. When clicked, you type in what you?re searching for and it will automatically search either Google or Yahoo.
- There is a ?Settings? option on the start page. The settings it contains are:
-- Zoom type (Manual, meaning you control it. or automatic, meaning it ?guesses? at what it thinks is the appropriate level.)
-- Toolbar Display (Always Display Toolbar. Auto-Hide Toolbar, meaning the toolbar will automatically hide after you take the cursor off of it. or Button Toggle, press the 1 button to hide/re-find the toolbar)
-- Search Engine (Google or Yahoo)
-- Delete Cookies (Deletes all stored cookies)
-- Adjust Display Width (moves the screen left or right. I had to adjust mine a little bit to the right)
-- Proxy Settings (no idea what this does yet)
- Controls:
A: Select
B: Scroll
+-: Zoom
2: single column mode (this sets everything on the web page into a single column. Not really sure where this would be useful....)
- there are 21 different zoom levels.
- The scrolling is much improved. Now it uses a ?click and point? rather then a ?click and drag.? Its similar to the auto scroll function for your mouse.
- youtubers will love the new browser as well. The quality of the videos isn?t as degraded anymore, and the zoom function, coupled with youtubes full screen option, allow you to get the video to perfectly fit your TV.
