The Great Khali vs Matt Hardy
The first thing that surprised me about this match was the huge amount of counters...man...i didn't think Khali was good at countering! The second thing was Matt's ability to get off the ground again, again, and again...he even survived a head chop! But it was all over after the second one...Sorry Matt, your out!
Winner: Khali (Orange body)
Loser: Matt (Red head, Red Body, Yellow Arms, Yellow Legs)
Mr.Perfect vs Kane
A yawn fest, Perfect couldn't mount much of an offense against Kane, who pull off a chokeslam in the second minute (That didn't do it though) After the second Chokeslam at the fifth minute it was nighty-night for the Perfectionist...
Winner: Kane (Yellow body)
Loser: Perfect (Ornage head, yellow body, yellow legs)
Shelton Benjamin vs Bobby Lashley
Now this is what i'm talkin' about! One of the best matches! Shelton was hit by a devestating spear in four minutes, but kicked out the pin and used his stored finisher to hit the T-Bone, but Lashley kicked out nust in the nick of time. It was then Back and forth until Lashley hit a Dominator in the centre of the ring! Shelton was stopped in his campaign to win the tournament...
Winner: Lashley (Red head, Orange body)
Loser: Shelton (Red head, Red body, Yellow arms)
Rob Van Dam vs Randy Orton
This match was okay, RVD built up his momentum first and stored his finisher, but then it seemed to all go downhill for the high flyer, who couldn't seem to hit Orton with the Five-Star-Frog-Splash at any oppourtunity, but, at the sixth minute, Orton caught RVD with the RKO and got the pin...RVD's head seemed to be out of the game, now the rest of his body is out!
Winner: Orton (Orange body, yellow head)
Loser: RVD (Yellow head, orange body)
John Cena vs Undertaker
Scratch what i said before, this was the best match of the night! It was abound with counters and lots of Back and forth action, Cena got the advantage early, he even locked Undertaker in the STFU, but Undertaker got a rope break, then (a few minutes later) Undertaker hit Cena with a Tombstone! But, Cena got a lucky ropebreak, Then, Cena used a stored F-U on the Undertaker, but Undertaker kicked out! About a few minutes later, Undertaker went for another Tombstone, but was countered into a full momentum F-U, which did the deadman in for good...sorry deadman, looks like your truly dead now...
Winner: Cena (Orange Body, Red Head, yellow arms)
Loser: Taker (Red body, Red head, yellow legs)
Shawn Michaels vs Edge
Meh, this wasn't very good considering how talented these two are (although the Perfect/Kane match was still the worst) Edge missed with the Spear early on and it seemed to go downhill for him from there, One Sweet chin music did him in for good, Sorry Edge, maybe you should have cheated more...
Winner: HBK (Orange Head, Orange Body)
LOser: Edge (Red head, Yellow body)
The Rock vs Steve Austin
Pretty good, this was full of counters and really could have gone either way. The Rock's first Rock Bottom attempt was countered by the Rattlesnake, who then stomped a mudhole into the Rock. AUstin then hit the Stunner, but the Rock kicked out. It was back and forth until the thirteenth minute when the Rock hit Austin with the Rock Bottom, which was followed up by a People's Elbow. They'll be no Beer Bash for Austin now...
Winner: Rock (Red Head, Red Body, Yellow legs)
Loser: Austin (Everything was Orange)
Kurt Angle vs Triple H
Hmmm...this wasn't the best match of the night, but it was damn close! (And as you'd expect, there were ALOT of counters!) Angle seemed to be out of it at the beginning, getting hit with a Pedigree in the third minute, he fought back though, and locked in the Ankle lock on Triple H! Triple H nearly tapped out, but he fought on and managed to hit a second Pedigree which busted Angle open and won the match for him. It looks like a gold medallist can't win this tournament...
