Either this is the real deal or an April Fool's joke that you guys are takin' way too far. I really hope it's the latter. Just to let you all know, if this is real I think it's pure hogwash. It's unfair to everyone who likes the site really, when you read between the lines it basically says that you have to become a Super Mod to be anything on this site. And since there won't be nearly as many mods as before that'll be almost impossible. It's really nice to know that all this time I've spent as a mod here has been appreciated. >__> Demotion, that's fair isn't it? And I actually thought I might get promoted to Super Mod in the near future, lesson learned for me I guess.
And about Dave, I never liked him & I never want to see him as Admin again, he just isn't right for the job. He was a tyrant who let the power go to his head. He banned members with little to no sensible reason at all. Not to mention he broke every rule imaginable & was a sarcastic know-it-all. I've said to myself for the longest time now that the reason so many new members leave & never return is because of how strict this site is. It scares them away, they don't want to be on a forum where they can practically feel the breath of the mods on the back of their necks. And Dave wouldn't improve that situation one bit. I'll be honest, I was happy to see him leave & the thoughts of him returning fill me with dread.
If I'm actually gonna be completely demoted soon, then I'd at least like an explanation as to why other than "We just needed to cut back some more" or anything to that effect. I think I deserve that much. And if all of these things come to pass then don't be shocked if you see a nice shiny thread in the SCT from me, nothing bad naturally.

so basically we will have 20 mods and 10 smods.doesn't sound bad but I'm upset about losing a spot for doing exactly what I was told to do.that being said I don't want to take superbirds spot because that is just rude,I'd rather be a mod along side him.and it won't add up to the mod count because regardless I will still mod 2 forums.

Either way, I think the SMods are cuttin' way too many mods, this site needs more than 30 total Staff members.
I'm still holdin' a shred of hope that this is all some sick April Fool's joke. But, I don't know...
