'Snowflake Syndrome' as put by Urban Dictionary - "A malady affecting a significant portion of the world's population wherein the afflicted will demand special treatment, conduct themselves with a ludicrous, unfounded sense of entitlement, and generally make the lives of everyone around them that much more miserable.

The danger of this disease is that the sufferers rarely, if ever, know that they have contracted it, and continue about their merry way under the assumption that EVERYONE ELSE is the problem.

This condition, if left untreated, can radically alter the carrier's demeanor, to include any of the following: a complete devolution to child-like behavior, temper tantrums, and/or fits of narcissistic rage.

When confronted with an individual suspected of harboring Special Snowflake Syndrome, one's best course of action is to run away. Further attempts at educating the carrier on the reality of their condition (e.g., quoting Tyler Durden: "You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.") will likely prove futile, and potentially hazardous to the informer."
-"Can you believe that lady who was just in? Where the hell am I supposed to find the earrings that match this necklace that the manufacturer stopped making ten years ago?"

-"Hell if I know, but she definitely had Special Snowflake Syndrome."

Overzealous parents are the ones at their kids games who are yelling at their kids and throwing fits when they think a referee or someone of that nature makes a wrong call. The root word, Zeal means "A strong feeling of interest or enthusiasm for something." Overzealous basically means being too invested into something, i.e. the kid's parents.

In a nutshell, you could probably say that being overzealous and having snowflake syndrome are one in the same.

I work in a bookshop. My jobs actually pretty great. Wish I was getting paid more, but that's always the case. Some customers can be right ********, but I just smile, apologise and generally make them feel bad for being ******** infront of half a dozen customers to a nice guy who didn't do anything wrong lol. Seeing their embarrasment is very satisfying.

Failing that, I tell the customer they need to stop acting out, and if they cannot proceed with the interaction in a calm and friendly manner I will have them kicked out and trespassed from our store. lol

Well, in Perth, we occasionally get robbers and vandalism (not to our house) but very rarely a murder. Although there was a murder a few weeks ago, besides that, we haven't had a murder for a year.

An absoultely HUGE amount better than America lol

Not sure if this is the particular ranking I actually want, I just skim read but; according to this here New Zealand is ranked 3rd in the world on the Global Peace Index :D

EDIT: hmm, that appears to be more geared towards military than civilian actions. Bugger lol

A pretty low crime rate. About 4 times lower than America.
