Nintendo Brawl 2016: General Info Thread

Yeah I'm wondering about that one... hope it's the lucky one!

Well unfortunately for him/her it has a hard matchup in R1. Mind you the secret challenger him/herself will be hard to beat.

Alright, well it will be fantastic to watch unfold here at the wonderful SuperCheats forums!

I'm hoping I can get more people to participate come November, cause I want this brawl to be big.

I wonder if Mark can help with that? be nice if they could apply a banner on the website to throw attention here.

The problem is all guests have the same mindset: Come here, find their cheat, leave.

They need to promote the forums, they use to do that on the main site part. I don't even look for cheats anymore, I'm shocked people are still looking for codes. I know they are still out there. But games I play do not use codes.

We've been talking about promoting the forums for years but all that has been done is a few GC threads are listed alongside game forums when you click on a particular game and look at the forums section (eg it says something like why don't you come and check out _____'s forums. Or you can go to these forums to chat with gamers (GC) and lists a combination of that particular game's forums and GC's).

Another thing I'd get rid of Forum Guest posting, that eliminates the need for accounts and banned users can just go crazy posting with guest accounts.

Need something that is like eye candy to the face for viewers, this place obviously has viewers. Time to drag them in.

Me neither. I just hope that the Admins (not Mark by himself) help promote it cause I don't have a separate group of members I can drag encourage here.

Haha, well that blows Matt! Oh well at least I know one of them will advance to round 2!

It is an epic matchup; I'm still unsure on who I will vote for.

I'm ready for it to begin already, November is so far!

Yeah but it's just not functional for me to begin before then. I could cram Nintendo Brawl planning and school together but it would just be too hard. I'm not as legendary as Warrior is. The closest 2 week holidays would've been a good time to start but they will likely be filled with study for end of year exams (testing the entire years work in 5 subjects), assignments, and me going north to see my grandmother.

Also waiting until November gives everyone a heads up and gives the Admins time to promote it if they plan to.

Yeah I know what you mean, I'm sure they will promote? Warrior decide not to do them anymore.

He's only ever done the Pokemon Brawl. As far as I know he's done the 2014 and 2016 ones. My Nintendo Brawl was originally going to be the same time but in 2014 and with different rules etc but a MVP popped up as I was planning and I was distracted by it cause it was the last ever so I cancelled it.
