Had a look at the comments of that article and it made me realise what it would mean for fans. Your team is essentially disappearing; as the San Diego Chargers are done. If Miami became the Jacksonville Dolphins I would not be happy at all. It wouldn't feel like the team I chose to support. How would you feel if Washington became the Seattle Redskins, and considering there is argument over the logo/name of the team imagine if they were changed to something like the Seattle Roosters? I know radical and ridiculous but things this bad happen.
Personally seeing what has happened to the Rams (1-11 record in the last 12 games with their only win featuring no touchdowns against NYJ) makes it seem crazy to move.
Have San Diego ever previously been based in LA like the Rams were? Cause if they have been that explains it a bit.

Nope, just the Raiders and Rams have been in LA. I think the Chargers played there when they were first established, but only until their stadium in San Diego was built.
Matt77, If Washington are forced to change their name and logo I would not be happy. It would feel like their identity had been taken away making them essentially a different team. I love the Indian logo with the feather, it is beyond me how anyone could find it offensive, I see a proud native American warrior when I look at it.
It's like many other words in our present culture that has been either desensitized or sensitized over the years, sensitized in this case. I don't see it, but I guess some take offense as if they are implying they are calling the culture by the color of their skin. It used to mean a strong, independent warrior, key word used to.
On a side note the Kansas City v Pittsburgh game has been moved to 8:20pm ET now. Really happy about that cause I can follow it from 9:20am onwards instead of 2:05am.

Wait?! You love the combination which has been making it extremely difficult for Miami to make playoffs for years? If we had another average team in our division instead of NE we could've finished 12-4. Winning the division is currently near impossible. It will likely stay the same next season.

Atlanta defeated Seattle 36-20 after trailing 0-7 at QT
This is why I didn't rate Seattle at all. To be outscored 36-13 in three quarters is essentially a thrashing. Especially since Seattle apparently have an amazing defense, yet allow 4 touchdowns, 2 field goals, and a safety (a safety against a bad defense).
Russel Wilson was 17/30 for 225 yards, 2TDs and 2INTs and Matt Ryan was 26/37 for 338 yards, 3TDs and 0INTs.
New England defeated Houston 34-16.
Brock Osweiler was 23/40 for 198 yards, 1TD and 3INTs and Tom Brady was 18/38 for 28 yards, 2TDs and 2INTs.

Next weeks NFC Championship game should be a memorable one, especially if Dallas can beat Green Bay tonight. Do you think the Falcons could upset the Patriots if they meet in the Super Bowl? I'd love to see that happen.
I think experience would sadly get New England over the line. We all know what happened to the red hot Panthers when they took their first trip to the Superbowl in a long time. Would be nice for Atlanta to win their first (0-1 in Superbowls).
It's hard to think that 13/32 teams have never won a Superbowl, and 4 teams have never featured in one. Poor Buffalo lost 4 consecutive.

Today's games are probably the toughest to predict so far in the playoffs.
KC Vs Pitt. In the first match up Pitt demolished KC. Big Ben is apparently ready to go after going an injury, and I feel the Steelers definitely have more experience in the playoffs. KC is at home and the line is +2 Steelers, so a slight edge favoring KC. My gut says the Steelers will win this game, but I've learned to go against that. Andy Reid has quite a bit of experience when it comes to the playoffs, hopefully that and the hunger for payback is enough.
Dallas Vs Green Bay Green Bay played 4 playoff teams in their past 5 games, winning every single one of them. (Minnesota being the other, even though they were a contender.) Green Bay has been playing damn good, and it couldn't have happened at a better time. Green Bay is +6, which I feel is obnoxious. Dallas didn't end their season playing amazing football, and a rookie QB to top it off. Maybe the bookies see something I don't... I have to go with Green Bay. Experience QB > Rookie QB
I have Green Bay winning that game as well, if Rogers throws for his usual 300 yards and 3 TDs Dallas are going to be hard put keeplng up with them. What makes this game interesting though is that Dallas are playing at home which means the Pack won't have the lousy Wisconsin weather which they are used to as an advantage. I see Green Bay winning this game something like 24-21. I can't believe the Cowboys are even considering starting Tony Romo in this game when you consider how many playoff games he's choked in.
It's Q2 and Cowboys are already down 21-3, this game could get ugly now the Cowboys will have to abandon their running game to try and catch up as quickly as possible. If the score is not 21-10 at halftime this game is over.
This could get interesting, the Cowboys have just scored, it's 21-10 with 7 minutes left in Q2.
It's currently 31-31 after Dallas tied it with a field goal and Rodgers threw a massive pass to give Green Bay a chance at a game-winning field goal.
...and they've done it. Dallas are one and done despite a good performance all around. Their rookies did not choke. Atlanta will host the NFC Championship game against Green Bay in what looms to be an epic rematch of the week 8 33-32 last-seconds win Atlanta had.
This playoff system the NFL has is extremely tough. You can finish #1 seed (13-3) and lose a game 31-34 with 3 seconds to go and be classified as one and done? In AFL the top 4 teams play each other and the losers go on the play lower teams and are not eliminated while the winners get a bye week before playing in the conference championship games of the AFL. Really really harsh. You can get some positives out of it but essentially this was a waste of a brilliant season for Dallas. They get one game of playoff experience (the same as all the wildcard round losers and one game less than Houston) and will have to try replicate a 13-3 season all over again.
There's almost no chance they will crumble like Carolina. The way they finished the season was a terrible loss in a Superbowl they were favourites to win in. The way Dallas lost was a heartbreaking last-second loss after they clawed their way back from several deficits to tie the game, and it was only a last-second 36-yard pass that got Green Bay the win.
Rodgers was 28/43 for 356 yards, 2TDs and 1INT, while Prescott was 24/38 for 302 yards, 3TDs and 1INT.

Yeah, Pittsburgh can't get a touchdown (5 field goals) and Kansas City can't get yardage (only one score which was a touchdown). New England had a bit of a wake up call against Houston, especially when the score was close.
