At this point of the season neither team can afford to drop points, especially Liverpool.

I don't think that you should ever intentionally lose games EVER, even when you see that capital C next to your name at the top of the table in the late weeks of the season. There is NO WAY Manchester United, or ANY team, has intentionally lost a game this year.

Then you are wrong. Like I posted, any team who loses on purpose dosent have to state why, instead they give excuses for that, and if you post that there is no way, then explain the drubbing arsenal received 13 months ago from Manchester United(5-1), and way back 96 months, Arsenal got the same result(6-0), and loss to Derby(for manchester United) 1-0

Every team has an off-day where they can't score. Bronco11 is correct no professional team ever goes out to lose on purpose, if they did it would make a mockery of the game and allegations of match fixing would surface which would damage the image of the Premiership and nobody would watch the games.

You always seem to think that teams are purposefully and knowingly blowing games when they lose big. Why? Somedays you are just not there mentally or physically, and when that happens you can lose big to almost any team.

I'm not trying to post that they lose on intention, but from scorelines I can tell, EG: Manchester United 2-0 Arsenal, I can tell Arsenal are trying hard to defend, but they didn't play well, but if Manchester United win by such a big margin such as 6-0,4-1 etc, I can tell that they don't even bother to play the match itself match properly.

I don't agree, if players don't play 'properly' they run the risk of losing their place in the team which will cost them a fortune in lost bonuses and damage their chances of playing for their national team if they appear out of form.

You do know that all it takes is four good attacks out of many to make a scoreline 4-0, right? The opponent could be trying very hard to defend, but if they get burned on four attacks they could be staring at a 4-0 scoreline. It doesn't mean they aren't trying to play the right way, it just means the opponent could just have burned them on several occasions.

I've seen the above happen many times, one team all over the other like a rash having about twenty shots on goal hitting the ball just wide or over and the framework numerous times and the other team just having one shot on goal and scoring therefore winning the game.

Frederico Macheda saves Manchester United twice... This could be a three point lead for Liverpool if not for him.

Well, I'm confident Manchester United can regain their 4/3point lead, if Liverpool draw against Arsenal next week, or Arsenal wins.

On current form in the Premiership I think Liverpool will win that game 2-0.

I would really like to see Liverpool win it. In just two games played, I hate Frederico Macheda more than just about any other player in England.

Nah, not this time, and I believe they have to wait much longer than that.

There can't be too many games left now until the end of the season. I think Chelsea mathmatically still have a chance of winning the Premiership but I think that's very unlikely.

4 games left, and Manchester United can have a 6 point lead if they win against Wigan on May 13th, and win against Arsenal on the 16th.

Chelsea can win, provided Manchester United slip up.

They should beat Wigan no problem but Arsenal is a tough game for them.

Manchester United beat Middlesbrough 2-0. That's good news. I'm a Hull City supporter you see.

Manchester United already has the title in the bag, but only if they win both Manchester City and Wigan on home and away respectively.

Man Utd still have Arsenal and Man City to play..

It's not over yet.

On a more important note, my trip to watch Brighton yesterday was the most epic experience, as we won, and abvoided relegation.

The comeback of the century, fighting our way back from 8 points adrift with 6 games left, winning 5 and drawing 1.

UP THE ALBION.
England; time setters for the entire world.
