But being honest, the monster thing wasn't what ended up making the series bad. It was simply poor execution. Digimon had it for a while, but then they lost it, and Pokemon never really had it.

sometimes i watch it with my younger cousins and we all have fun watching it because we think it is great

Digimon got crappy after the first season for me. Then Pokemon is just about a kid who never hits puberty, a guy who's eyes are never open, and some random ***** who gets paid to stick around. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the raging couple who like to sing their motto every episode, and have an R on their chest and shirts for '******'.

If it makes you feel any better, they change their theme in one of the more recent episodes.

Actually, I liked the second season of Digimon too. Everything after that was pretty bad, but I think Digimon had it for a while. They also had some good movies.

lol yeah the problem with Pokemon and Digiomon is they talk to corny all the time and Pokemon is always so predictable.The games are awesome but the show.


Well every season goes like this Ash meets up with brock and some random girl then collects 8 badges or whatever frontier symbols or something then comes in second at the Pokemon league or if its some smaller league he places first its all just too predictable and team Rocket really started to annoy me they are in every single episode and always blast off its gotten so old I mean wtf why do they even want pikachu just because he zapped them every time they come all i can think is oh sugar honey iced tea its them again!!!!

well we all have different prceptions of the shows that we like i like the games and the shows of pokemon they just seem fun 2 me

sadly I only like the games now I lost interest in both shows (never had interest in digimon games)over the summer.

Pokemon shows are just a sliver better than The games.

In terms of shows Digimon but Pokemon has the game by a long shot.

oh I only meant in terms of shows cuz Pokemon is waaaay better in games.

I wouldn't say WAY better, considering that every pokemon game is essentially the same game, only changing the map, adding some pokemon, adding some moves, and changing the look of the character and randomizing the type of every gym. However, there is some fun to be had with pokemon games. I also liked Mystery Dungeon. Surprisingly well done and off the regular beaten pokemon path.

However, it seems that the show takes from the game in every way except being good. It basically repeats the same stuff every season, and almost every episode while Digimon keeps it fresh and interesting. I will say that the Digimon series are rushed, and the battles are over with very quickly. I also get annoyed having to watch the same digivolution sequence over and over again. Here's the difference, and it will give you a good sense for which has the better show. Pokemon was stretched out WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long, and Digimon rushed things. Honestly, I'd like both much better if they switched things up so that they took time with the Digimon stuff and let us settle into each story more, and I'd like pokemon better if there was less of it.

yea i do feel that pokemon was streched out and digimon was rushed but maybe if they do both kinda in the middle then mabye things would work out for both shows and games

What I found really annoying about the game series was that Pokemon G/S/C were a lot of fun, since you were able to go back to the Kanto Region and see how it changed. It was very shorted, since your pokemon were already beasty enough to own all the gym leaders there, but then you go to fight the trainer from R/B/Y, and it was awesome. With some fine tuning, it could have doubled the gameplay. Then in R/S/E, maybe out of a fear of fans, money and success, they decided to dump that whole double region thing, which angered me greatly.
