Custom Classes

What's your favourite custom class that you use and why do you use it?

I have two faves and they go a little something like this:

Name: Custom Class 1 (Yes, I'm VERY original with my names...)
Primary Weapon: P90 Bling - Akimbo, Rapid Fire, no camouflage
Secondary Weapon: M93 Raffica Bling - Red Dot Sight, FMJ, no camouflage
Equipment: Claymore (Sometimes known as Stigmoars)
Special Grenade: Flashbang
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Pros: Contains both a decent long-range weapon (M93) and a quite powerful close-and-personal setup (P90)

Cons: None to really report so far.

Name: Custom Class 2
Primary Weapon: AUG HBAR Bling - Holographic Sight, Foregrip, Woodland Camouflage
Secondary Weapon: AT4-HS
Equipment: Frag Grenade
Special Grenade: Flashbang
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Pros: AUG HBAR is a decent all-distance tool and is very incredibly accurate

Cons: While the AT4 has free fire, because it only has one shot it is better to be saved for taking down choppers/harriers which is bad for the ammo supply on the HBAR.

I usually use CC1, I only just recently got Akimbo for the P90 and only recently unlocked the M93 Raffica as well and I'm loving both of them.

Pretty solid set up. At least the second is, I'm not a fan of akimbo primaries - but thats just me - I think they're too overpowered. especially coupled with scavenger - no time wasted reloading, and if your a good player, unlimited ammo because of scavenger.


I'd post up my custom classes, except for the fact I have 6, & I use them ALL. I don't stick to 1 or 2 classes, I have classes set up for different game modes, different maps, different types of players etc.

I'll put up one of my personal favs;

Name - Play Dead (My mate that I let play on my acc. named it - coz playing dead is one of my favourite tactics in Domination/Headquarters.
Primary; ACR + Silencer - Fall Camo.
Secondary; M9 + Silencer
Equiptment; Throwing Knife/Semtex
Special Grenage; Stun
Perk One; Scavenger Pro
Perk Two; Cold Blooded Pro
Perk Three; Ninja Pro

Pros; Brilliant short range accuracy with the M9, and almost unmatched middle/long distance accuracy with the ACR. Equiptment & Perks allow me to move silently, get around behind the opposition & take them down, 9 times out of 10 without any of the entire team even noticing that their team mates are all dying around them as my team mates usually storm head-first into hot-spots.

Cons; Power wise, both the ACR & M9 are on weaker side of power. With the ACR generally being considered a 'light' powered A.R, while the SCAR-H & TAR-21 being the two 'heavy' powered A.Rs. Lack of power easily made up for by a solid fire rate & awesome accuracy of the ACR & the accuracy of the M9 & my fast trigger finger.

There ya have it.

Primary: Riot Shield
Secondary: PP2000 W/Silencer or Extended Mags (Depending on what I have unlocked)
Equipment:C4
Special Grenades: Stun
Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Lightweight
Perk 3: Commando

Pros: Blocking bullets from hitting my face helps, as well as I'm pretty decent with it's Melee option, PP2000 is an accurate secondary, and has decent power.

Cons: Two bashes is annoying (But reasonable because it would be overpowered for one bash), PP2000 can quickly run out of ammo, Riot Shield is rather slow moving.

Easiest and most fun setup for my taste, Usually get 3/1 kd or higher with it, and it does pretty good for objective games which is where I primarily play.

I'm NEVER lucky enough to play with a team that a) doesn't steal my kills when I'm using a riot shield and b) doesn't have any good players (well, tactically anyway.

I've gone games with 5 or 6 riot shield kills, and like 20+ assits because my teams would all follow me, and wait for me to melee once, then shoot the enemies.

Sure, its a great team tactic. I wouldn't care if they were in my clan, but they weren't. They just liked easy kills & crouching behind the guy with the Rshield

I love the RShield class, mine is the same as Alex's, except I use Scavenger instead. Akimbo PP2000 or whatever they be. & as Alex said, the secondary gun loses ammo WAY to quickly, so I use scavenger to counter that.

Yeah, I normally only get 1-3 assists

I also like to use

Primary: Scar-H W/Silencer or TAR-21 W/Silencer (More often I'll use the TAR-21)
Secondary: M93 Raffica W/Extended Mags or FMJ (Depending on what I've unlocked)
Equipment: Claymore
Special Grenade: Stuns
Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Cold-Blooded
Perk 3: Ninja Pro

Pros: Silenced strong Primary for stealth kills in close quarters or long shots(TAR for close, Scar for long, of course depending on map), Un-Silenced Strong Secondary for luring in close quarters or When ammo is low on Primary. Cold-Blooded and Ninja Pro keep me completely Stealthy while being mobile with Marathon, Claymores can cover paths normally run, Stuns are faster to throw than Flashes and I only use smoke with Thermal.

Cons: No Stopping Power makes it a harder class to use when near everyone uses Stopping Power, Luring can get you killed if they're close enough and you didn't know.

Update for my CC1:

Secondary: M93 Raffica Akimbo + FMJ, no camo

Because I use steady aim pro this is still pretty damn accurate even at long ranges. Normally it's a 2-burst kill (one from each gun) at close range and 3-4 at mid range.

From what I remember when I used the Raffica's all the time, the were a one burst with FMJ, no Akimbo (Stopping Power of course)

Anyway, just posting out of simple pwnsomeness of the class itself.

Primary: Any Assault Rifle with a Grenade Launcher Attatched
Secondary: N/A
Equipment: Claymore
Special Grenade: Stun
Perk 1: One Man Army
Perk 2: Danger Close
Perk 3: Steady Aim or Whatever you want (I use Steady Aim because Grenade Launchers kills count as Hipfire Kills)

Pros: Unlimited N00b Tubes.

Cons: Can be annoying when facing Marathon, Lightweight, Commando and Tac Knife.

I suggest Camping in an elevated area.

I use the DangerClose Pro class XD

Except I use either the ACR or M16 w/M203 as they're the two I like best. ACR is accurate enough you don't need S.A, so you can use ninja/sit-rep depending on the game type.

RPG-7s for closer-quarter maps or Thumper for more open maps. Sometimes, and this is very, very rarely, will I use the Javelin.

With Danger Close Pro, the Javelin is rated to around the same damage as the AC130 105mm cannon (that isn't coupled with Danger Close Pro)

I also use scavenger instead of OMA, simply because I don't like sitting around once my ammos depleted, I'm so used to scavenger with my class that the pick-ups are all second nature to me.

Pros for mine; Same as Alexs, with the ability to replenish ammo on the run.

Cons; Close-quarter fights = FAIL if your using the M203 in a very enclosed space (ie; not enough room for the grenade to arm itself during flight)

Gone up a couple of levels and got a new weapon so I have a new class to compensate and it's working pretty well so far.

Custom Class 2 (replacing the HBAR/AT4 setup)

Primary: M16A4 - M203 and Red Dot Sight, no camo (when I eventually get enough noob tube kills I will probably switch the M203 for the Shotgun attachment)
Secondary: M93 Raffica - Akimbo and FMJ (This has always been my all-range weapon of choice, so I'll be sticking with this for many levels to come)
Equipment: Semtex
Special Grenade: Flashbang
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Pros: M16 is a great long-range tool while the M93's make a good mid-and-close combo.

Cons: Honestly it's only my (lack of) skills with the M203 that bring this combo down.

Name: Night Striker(Comes from my PSN name)

Primary: P90 Silenced

Secondary: M9 Silenced

Grenade: Flashbang

Special: C4/Throwing Knife(Depending on how I feel)

Perks

1: Sleght of Hand Pro

2: Cold-Blooded Pro

3: Ninja Pro

Pros: Lets me sneak around the battlefield, taking targets out when I come across them, lets me take out Sentry Guns without taking fire(from the Sentry).

Cons: Total lack of a good long-range weapon.

You do know the M9 still shows up on radar when Silenced right?

Really? Well then what's the point of a M9 Silencer!?

On offline matches I never noticed that, and my mates use the M9 silenced. Same with online, when I was playing with a mate of mine in FFA, and I know he was using the M9 pistol because I stole his class after he killed me.

The FFA was all players I knew, and we all belong to the same clan & we were using the FFA to try & suss out the 'rankings' of our clan (obviously I was highest ranked coz I made the clan haha) & we all use silenced weapons, with ninja & coldblooded - as thats the theme of our clan..

Last I knew it did, pretty sure it still does.

It's just a glitch in the game needing to be patched but probably won't...

Who cares? Why bother having a pistol if it's silenced.

Stingers are better secondary anyway

Javelins are better. And one of my classes has it. But for this one, I want to remain undetected even when my primary is out of ammo. That's why. So, do all handguns do that?

Probably not.

Javelin always misses, and is really slow at aiming and firing

Pretty sure only the M9 does it but there are only two handguns you can Silence...Wouldn't it be awesome to have the Magnum and Deagle Silenced though?

Yeah, my bad, I forgat about that. But a silenced Eagle would be great!
