Primary: MP5k W/Akimbo
Secondary: PP2000 W/Holo or Silencer
Equipment: C4
Special Grenade: Stun
Perk 1: Marathon
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim
Deathstreak: Meh, I just use Copycat on all my classes now...
Pros: MP5k is great with Akimbo for almost all game types except for TDM, PP2000 is great for when you run out of ammo, is high powered with SP.
Cons: Akimbo SUCKS for long range, obviously. :D

Secondary: G18 W/Akimbo & FMJ
Equipment: Throwing Knife or Semtex
Special Grenade: Stun
Perk 1: Bling
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Steady Aim
Deathstreak: Copycat
Pros: Good for S&D and TDM, Possibly for close quarter Domination maps. High Powered, fun class.
Cons: Akimbo is really bad for range.

I was up against an akimbo P90 wielding idiot today. Best way to stop akimbos - Stay away from then haha
can't duck & go prone underneath them. They're innaccurate enough to still get you haha

Aside from the Hardcore Small class I posted in the "how's it going in mw2" thread this is my other good class for hardcore matches:
Name: HC Med/Large
Primary: FAL with Red Dot Dight + M203/Noob Tube
Secondary: M93 Raffica Akimbo + FMJ
Equipment: Claymore
Special: Stun
Perk 1: Bling Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Deathstreak: Martyrdom
Pros: FAL is a one hit kill and incredibly easy to point 'n' shoot, M93s make a good close-quarter backup.
Cons: Nil really, very solid class especially on HC Search 'n' Destroy or HQ Pro.

The only reason I could see you using Stopping Power for HC is when shooting through walls to avoid getting hitmarkers instead of 1 shot kills.
