Melee or Gun Wepons

Brute Shot can be used as a Melee or a Gun Weapon. Better melee than most other weapons, and can still be used at a distance.

I like the combo of a Gun and a Melee waepon like th BR and Energy Sword the Brute Shots good though but if you fire to close to the enemy then you can die to.

Meh half and half. But, I lean towars guns, they offer more variety. I mean Shotgun beats both Gravity Hammer AND Energy Sword thanks to it's fast action.

Oh, and whoever thinks the Gravity Hammer takes no skill to wield, you're VERY worng. Both the Gravity Hammer's attacks leave you with a WIDE opening. You need good timing if you want to kill someone hand to hand with that thing, since they can easily melee kill you while you're in the middle of striking. I'd rather use it as an anti vechicle weapon anyway.

oh yea and you are right about guns as well one more reason why i like guns

I'd have to go with Guns, with Melee weapons you have to get close up to score a kill, and that can prove extremely difficult if they're backing away. With Guns, you can pick people off from long range OR short range, and as already pointed out, the Shotgun beats both the Sword and Grav Hammer. Plus, the BR is the best weapon in the game, IMO.

Well,the BR is a double edge sword. It's definetly a great weapon if you're good at staying on the opponents head while moving, proving useful in most combat scenarios, even against the Assault Rifle. But, shooting at anything but the head does, unfortunatley, very little damage. So, like a Sniper, good aim = good weapon for the BR.

yea exactly wat samus said (hopefully i can call you that) but im still with guns and you are right about melee wepons only being short ranged

i prefer guns because swords u have to get close range and guns you could just shoot from far distance

I prefer ENergy swords. its my best weapon =P

Guns take more skill than melee cause with the gravity hammer it makes you run slower and you just have to wait until someone is really close and then WHAM they either die or fall off the map. Now with guns it takes skill and accuracy. Not as easy as with the gravity hammer.
