Which do you prefer...guns or melee weapons like the sword and gravity hammer...I prefer guns.

Guns, Gravity Hammer takes no skill, at ALL. Sword is meh, I don't prefer it and I find it as an easy no-scope.

when you use it you cant just run it because the enemy will just run backwards shooting you, you need to use a bit of stealth or carry a multi use weapon like a battle rifle or needler for mid-long range.

Guns, I suppose. The BR is amazing along with the Shotgun, which can outmatch the Grav Hammer and the Sword.

Exactly, and if you have a grav hammer and the enemy has a needler or something like that, they can just run back just out of lunge distance shooting you.

Same, shotty and sniper is my favourite combo, sometimes its sniper and brute shot though.

I like both to be honest.
I'm good with a sword, but even better with a Sniper or Beam rifle, I can easily score a few kills or headshots with both.

The sword and gravity are good as long as you can gt close enough but guns are great for more ranged attacks

Guns take sword and hammer any day, except, maybe, on Foundry, since it's close-quarters. The whole point is, unless you ninja them, sneaking up from behind and owning their asses, it's tough to get a sword or hammer kill. The guy with the gun just keeps backing up and shooting you.

yeah, so therefore melee weapons suck. and on another note, guns also have the melee ability

You can still use the sword's handle and the hammer's melee however, both are just as effective to.
