Let's not forget that there is a lot of money to be made from copying successful products from one medium to another. books to movies to games etc.

Oh, where do I begin?
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (often abbreviated as HHGTTG or H2G2) was a radio series by Douglas Adams. After the success of the radio series it became a series of novels, a TV miniseries, a text-based computer game, a series of graphic novels, and a film. There were also a couple of stage productions which were on;y performed in England.
There is also a YouTube channel that has an animated version, but this is merely fan-made animation using the original radio series audio,

Pretty good idea, but you kind of messed up the continuity of the thread.
So far, the person on YouTube (Nick Page) has only done the first and half of the second episode, with various other bits from later episodes.

Quite interesting. I saw the movie quite a while ago and from what I can remember it was pretty good.

SC does that sometimes. For a while it did it to mine and basically everyone else's avatars, yet other members could see everything fine. Sadly it fixed only after I eventually got my new laptop... You could always try having your old old avatar and see if that works, since your new one displays fine.

Tried that already, but it didn't work. I don't think it's SCs fault at all, it's Photobucket changing their policy of being a free image-hosting site and now we can't use the images from there anymore.

Ugh, that sucks. I've been lucky enough that my avatar/sig image has never been deleted from tinypic or removed from other reasons.
