Halo: Behemoth Squad 2

Fan finished working on her shoulder and reattached the armor. "Alright, let's head down to the living quarters and examine these quardanites." Fan said. Leading the others to the holo transporter.

Lagg saw the door to Fan's room open and he stood up straighter. "Um..Fan...are you better?" asked Dowhax. "And do you have the copy of the data?"

"A clone of her brain? That's quite interesting..." Tex said.

"More like a hundred, it took her forever to get one that worked." Amada said. "Now get out of here, Fan's coming to get you for a meeting. She'll gut you if she finds you in here. Don't worry, Fan's going to take me for a test in a real mission soon enough."

"Here." Fan said, tossing a small chip to Dowhax. "And I'm fine, let's go get the other newbie."

Dowhax nodded and followed the group. He stared at the chip for alittle, and then put it in his side pocket. "so Fan? What do you mean 'other newbie'?"

"Erm. the newbie in the armory..." Harry responsed.

"Alright then..." Tex said, exiting Fan's private quarters.

"We'll meet again soon Tex." Amada said cheerfully as the plated door slammed shut.
A few moments later, Fan walked into the room with the others in tow. "You get the ammo and weapons put away or what Tex?" Fan called. Her eyes narrowed as she saw Tex near her armory door.

Harry walked up from behind Fan, unaware of Fan's glare. He looked to Fan, and quickly became cautious. "C'mon...lets get some ammo..." He said as he slowly walked towards the ammo crate to pick up some more Sniper Mags and Shotgun shells.

"Yes ma'am." Tex whispered, but loud enough for Fan to hear.

"Let's get going then, shall we?" Randall asked.

Fan stared at Tex for just another moment. "Then haul ***, we're meeting on the living deck to analyze this data and plan our next attack." She said.

"Right..." said Harry as he moved to head to the living deck.

Once Fan and Blade reached the deck of the ship Fan walked over to a table and pulled a top off of it to reveal a large holo pad underneath. She gave it a quick kick and it started up, giving a large map of the mapped universe. Even though it was only what the UNSC had mapped, it was still enormous. Fan began typing in the coordinates into a small computer on it. A beacon than appeared on the map.

"So, that beacon's where we're going, right?" asked Harry as he rested his Shotgun on his shoulder.

"It looks like the ruins of New Mombassa..." Randall said.

"Why would they be trying to take us there?" Blade asked.
"Maybe they set up a base there, or maybe they have a trap for us there." Fan mused.

"Trap...? I sure hope not. But as the saying goes Hope for the best, but expect the worst". Harry replied.

((Alright, I'm going to be picking up the speed from here on now. Let's do it boizzzzzzzzzzzz))

"To me this is a trap, an obvious one to. Why would they make a base in New Mombasa?" Randall said, obviously pondering this thought.

"Well, Brutes have always been known to taunt... This could be there way of taunting us to attack, by building ruins on one of mankind's greatest cities." Tex said.

"Well, we could take the trap and shove it right up their butts if we just bomb the hell out of that location." Blade said.

"True, but doing that might destroy any clues that might help us against the enemy" Harry added as he waited patiently.
