I could easily do the editor job, actually on that note, if that involved me being allowed to edit the format, I'd get right on that... it looks messy and low class compared to what it could be.

Yeah, we know that. Daecu was supposed to be adding BBcode and changing the format before the "incident", but we never talked about it again. I agree it needs to be changed, definitely something I'd be looking forward to. The changes would have to be discussed with all the NL members, though.
Anyway, GG has been with us for months, right after Neko left we both began taking care of the NL. I say he needs his chance too, he has some great ideas.
How about giving both a shot? GG can be editor this month, TV the next one, or vise-versa. We'd choose the one with best results.
