I hate all the idiots on that video who don't know the game, and think what he did was justified. Thank God for that Catcher.

Youtube is just full of idiots anyways. Everyone thinks everything they say is right and everything else is blasphemy.

Catcher saved the guys life. A bat to the head could cause death or could have left him permanetly brain damaged.

Speaking of heads, David Wright got drilled on the head and was diagnosed with a concussion.

Ian Kinsler was also drilled in the head, looked ready to charge the mound.

.. and Hiroki Kuroda was hit by a line drive.

I think yesterday was a bad day.

I think this is getting out of hand. Batters getting hit too many times.

The Pitcher is understood. We didn't see that coming.

New 2010 schedules are released, Yankees and Red Sox open AND close the season... interesting. (Of course they're both in Fenway. <.<)

Interesting Interleague setup. Yankees host the Astros, Mets, and Phillies. They go to see the Mets, Diamondbacks, and Dodgers. Cool that this was all split up.

Edit - I went to the right game last night, got to see that fight.

Carlson shouldn't have been standing there. I'd blame it on him for standing on top of home plate but Posada's at fault too for bumping him.

Funny view from the Grandstand..

Have the Yankees always been the best team in MLB? I remember when I went to NY in 2001 everyone there was Yankee mad.

Pretty much. Yankee dominance for years.

So, Yankees close out the season against the Rays, cap it with a ten run inning, highlighted by Alex Rodriguez hitting two home runs and getting seven RBIs to put him at the 30 HR-100 RBI mark. Amazing.

Red Sox thump the Indians..

Tigers win, so the Twins are forced to win to force the one game playoff at the Metrodome. Looks like the Twins are going to win right now, anyway.

Mets end their season on a positive note against the Astros, Miguel Tejada has a 21 game hitting streak at the end of the season.

Cincinnati thumps the Pirates 6-0.

Phillies and Orioles enjoy walk off wins in extra innings.

Interesting close to the season. Here comes the postseason.

Man, I'm so nervous for the Tigers. The playoff game will Take Place Tuesday @ the Twins.

Tigers better pull this off, I have been watching them all year.

I hate to say it, but the Twins are riding hot, and have a HUGE advantage over the Tigers at the Metrodome. This game is gonna be so intense.

Yeah I know, the Twins are hot right now. They also are at home so it will definitely be a tough task for the Tigers. I still feel though the Tigers can do it though. All I know is Rick Porcello better be starting that game for the Tigers.

So, Twins force it.

I was shocked when Leyland put Figaro in the game instead of Porcello, maybe he knew what was happening and saving Porcello for it? He's well rested, and I think it's gonna be a really tight game. The pitching around here is probably going to be VERY significant.

Yeah pretty much everyone was shocked when they put in Figaro as the starter. I kinda felt bad for him, having barely any experience, and be put into a tight race with the whole team on your back. He might of have been saving Porcello which may have been the right call, but if the Tigers would have won Game 2 against the Socks there would have been no playoff needed.
