Well, its a pretty simple question. Which version will you buy and why? I am goint to buy SS because i like Lugia more. So what one will you buy... HG or SS?

I am gonna get both, one for the proper adventure and online etc and the other one probably for hacking and stuff lol. I can't wait till next month =D

I'll probably get HG cause I got Silver back in the good old days and I now HATE Lugia.
That and, Ho-oh isn't someone I've particularly used if any, at all in previous games.. He hasn't been featured in many movies and I just like Fire-types over water.

After completing it i will buy HG and transfer all the pokemon to SS.
Which means that i will use SS for fun and then in HG catch pokemon with good status that i would have missed in SS and then transfer all pokemon in SS and make it ready for battle.

I remember when i first bought silver it was a fake one.
I had to go back and then they would not give me the orignal silver until i said that i will ask my dad to case them.

It depends on what is exclusive in each version for me. I'll get whichever has better Pokemon competitively.

I'll get both, but if I can only get one first, then I'd SS since Silver was the first of the two versions I got. Guidebook will be purchased same time as well.

Guidebook, who needs a guidebook when you have all that info & more on the internet? While the only Gen 2 game I've played is Silver because I got it at a game store (the game card's rusted innards now inside a toy machine egg) I would've rather had Gold tbh, so that's why I choose HG to play seriously this time.

I have both the original Gold, and Silver. and personaly i enjoyed gold more.
So i'll probably buy HeartGold. one, because i love Ho-oh, and two my very first pokemon game was the original Gold
