In my opinion, it's going to be a hard year for movies. The Lovely Bones is going to be the movie to beat for me as I loved it.

I checked as well and I think you're right. I'm surprised Marvel have cancelled Spider-Man 4 which was set to have John Malkovich as the Vulture, and Anne Hathaway as Felicia Hardy who is the Black Cat instead Marvel are going to make Spider-Man Reboot in 2012 with new actors actresses.

I knew that Toby Maguire wasn't going to play Spiderman in the next film but I just assumed they were on about Spiderman 4, I didn't realise they were heading away from that.

The only thing good about that is that Maguire won't be in the next Spider-Man movie. God I hate that guy..
And yeah, I think I heard they'll be doing the same with Fantastic Four, if I remember rightly.. ;o

Think I've yet to meet a person who particularly liked Maguire. If that Fantastic 4 thing is true I wonder why they are doing it, theres only been 2 movies.

Sadness, the story literally ended unfinished in the 3rd movie. Marvel is also releaseing a Venom spin-off in 2012.

The problem with the actors and actresses is that they get old. For example take Toby McGuire who made three Spider-Man movies starting in 2002, he is now 35 and a bit old for Peter Parker who is supposed to be in his early twenties.

I personally think they're great, and will probably go the same route as James Bond movies with a different actor playing the role of Peter Parker every 8-10 years to keep him young.
