Either way, I won't believe this until it actually happens. There have been a truckload of days when the world was supposed to end but they never ended then, this is no different.

Second, Nostradamus didn't come from America. It's not east of you he's talking about, it's east of FRANCE . Obama came from Hawaii (which is west), and his father came from Kenya (definitely more south than east).

Not always, a "war" can be another word for "conflict", in this case. A conflict can be "man vs nature, man vs man, or man vs himself"
So man warring on nature, trying to survive against whatever is happening, meteors cause armaggedon, just an example
"man vs man" Trying to survive, and gather the food, while other people are doing the same.

"man vs himself" trying to accept death, without losing your sanity.
