Collection? No but they are out to play like $5.99 each. But not bundled together, atleast not last time I checked. I already got all three though. Might take awhile for them to bundle them up, but when they do they will probably cost around $12 instead of around $18.

Oh. Are they updated at all? Like with HD and stuff? If not I won't bother with them as I've got perfectly good ps1 copies right next to me :p

I don't think so, they might be but I don't go an HD TV so I really can't tell. But I would assume they did do something along those lines but why would you want a collection if you got them on disc?

Well the PS1 versions don't look too nice on my TV. So I figured if they were touched up a bit and looked a little better I'd pick they up if they were cheap. But if they're the same as the originals I won't bother.

I did notice, through some Youtube videos, that the graphics don't seem all that different on the PS3, compared to the games on the PS2.
I'm talking about the Jak games, now.
There didn't seem to be much difference...
I'm officially planning on getting this collection anyway. I only have the third game, so it can't hurt to get a series and replay all of them. :p

never played Final mix, would lime to though. Also Number one wasn't hard, expect that final boss which was just really long and annoying. KH2 was easy and long, only had trouble with Sephy the second time I fought him.
Been awhile since I played either of em, sold my PS2 cause I thought PS3 had backwards compatability. Sad day that was.

Lucky, my parents bought me mine for Christmas so they wouldn't have known. I did not get lucky. Find it annoying that they didn't make them all backwards compatible.

Actually there is, the PS3 costs a good deal to make so they probably made the decision to release a cheaper one without the backwards compatibility.
Did not know that, so how does being region locked effect/affect you?

The technology for backwards compatibility wouldn't have added very much to the overall cost of the PS3. I guess that depends on your view of what's expensive though. The chip made the machines cost at most $30USD more, and even that is a little over-shot.
I would have been willing to shell that much extra if I would have been able to still play -all- of my PS2 games.
But I guess many PS2 games are being re-released on the PS3 now, so they're making up for it in some way.
