But you're allowed to drink under 21, you just can't buy a drink.
>Contrary to popular belief, since the act went into law, only a few states (such as Pennsylvania, for example) prohibit minors and young adults from consuming alcohol in private settings.
Burn: It happens in Wisconsin mostly and only if your parents approve and are on private property. This happens in public when I'm not with my parents.
Wow, so sensitive in here. I added your age to give some scope for how old these forums are. Like Xeta said, but apparently no one was capable of reading his post.
I'm not saying I'm superior based on age. You completely took it out of context cause you were looking for something to fuel your teenage angst towards me.
KoC, now that I see your age, I can only hope that one day your beliefs will mature and develop further. In the nicest way possible, they just seem a bit primitive and naive.
It's up to you how you interpret it. With age and the diversification you can experience by speaking with people the world over, you'll realize over time why almost every belief you've shared has been heavily scrutinised.
I'm guessing you grew up in a fairly small place, quaint, no real exposure to opinions other than the right-wing ones that surrounded you while you grew up. It's understandable, it's all you knew. You grew up, adopted the beliefs for yourself. It was all you knew, after all. Because of this lack of diversity, you have become stubbornly loyal to your beliefs, which explains why you're unwilling to entertain the arguments/rationality behind other beliefs/opinions. You force your beliefs on to other people because the concept of differing beliefs for faith and opinion on matters is foreign to you.
Why would you get banned? This isn't flame nor a fight, make a separate topic and clear the air once and for all so we don't have to deal with this **** anymore. Unless you're just saying that because you fear you will lose the argument...
If you're so confident why don't you? If you're afraid of being banned here, which granted isn't completely implausible, bring it over to PXE and we'll continue there.
That's not very diverse if you don't talk to them about things. Also if they're conservative and Christian they're not really different from you tbh. That's diversity but not the right kind. It surprises me you actually go on reddit considering it's a very liberal place. 3 years on reddit and 4chan sorted me right out with any backwards beliefs I had.
The thing is like benji said if you're surrounded by people with the same views as you in one town/school/church you'll likely never doubt it but as soon you get on the internet you'll find everyone believes in different things which challenges your beliefs. That's why there are so many atheists and agnostics on reddit and on the internet in general: because they meet so many people who believe different things that it becomes impossible to believe in just one thing anymore.
There's nothing wrong with religion but there's something called "religious maturity". Look it up.
