I'd take Joe Cool (Montana) as quarterback, that guy never gave up and always found a way to win plus he played in a tougher era than Brady.

From what I have seen the best ever running back the NFL has ever seen if he had of stayed healthy and committed himself to one sport was Bo Jackson. The guy has the fastest 40 speed ever recorded at an NFL conbine, he was big and powerful (literally ran over Bosworth) and made everyone else on the field look slow. Also a Heisman Trophy winnner who had a 6.6 average yard per carry in the pros which is unheard of.

Wide Recievers would be Moss one side and Rice the other.

Not sure about your picks at fullback though, I'd have Earl Campbell there, the guy was unstoppable in his prime.

Tony Gonzalez is a probably my pick at TE as well.

Joe was great, but I just don't think he's in Brady's league. If it was a regular season game though, I might even pick Favre or Manning. Perhaps even Marino, since they weren't the best post season QBs.

BO Knows! lol Bo was great, but unfortunately his career ended way too soon. Plus he played for the Raiders, and in the wrong decade. If we were picking in their prime, yeah, Bo has be in the mix.

I think Campbell was actually a Halfback, but heck, I'd take that bruiser as a FB. lol

Tony was the best. Only Witten has the chance to break all his records.

I forgot about Marino, if he had a decent team around him nobody would remember Montana. Marino has to be the best pure passer of the football I have ever seen. It's a shame he doesn't have at least a couple of Super Bowl rings to his name.

That was a great team Montana had around him in 1984, I think if I remember correctly they only lost one game that year and that was to Pittsburgh by a field goal. Although Marino had a fantastic year setting all sorts of passing records including 48 Touchdown passes which was unheard of at the time the Miami Dolphins didn't have a running game worth talking about and it cost them the game as everyone knew Marino was going to get the ball on almost every down. Dan Fouts should have at least one Super Bowl ring to his name as the San Diego Chargers were easily the best team in the early 80's before Washington emerged as a dominant force with John Riggins running behind the hogs.

Yeah, that whole San Diego team of the late 70's and early 80's was great 'Air Coyell', shame they didn't win a Super Bowl.

They got one with Seau didn't they later one? Or was that the year Steve Young was nearly perfect in the Super Bowl?

That's correct Steve Young went berserk in that game and threw about five Touchdowns, I think the final score was 49 - 26 but don't quote me on that as it was twenty years ago (1996). Those 49rs teams in the 80's and early 90's were superb now looking back at them, I hated them at the time as I was I'm a Washington Redskins fan and they kept my team out at least a couple of more Super Bowls.

lol

I think young also went like 23/25 passing, completing like his first 20. lol

Like I said, my team had a taste of the Walsh Dynasty too. XD

Yeah, Steve Young had a good game. He was unfortunate he took over the 49rs from Joe Montana during the Dallas Dynasty of the 90's otherwise he would without a doubt have a couple of more Super Bowl victories under his belt.

Don't forget the near career ending hit he took that shortened his career.

Yeah, Steve Young was a great player. Bill Walsh was a genius spotting his potential and getting him out of Tampa Bay where he looked average at best with that poor team around him.

Yeah that's right, if I remember correctly Don 'the Majik Man' Majkowsk who was the Packers starting Quarterback at the time got injured and Favre who got discarded by the Atlanta Falcons I think it was took over and the rest is history.

I still can't believe Holmgren gave a First Round Pick for Favre. He had to look like a complete maniac back then, but he was the greatest genius of all. Right up there with Jimmy Johnson and the Hershel Walker trade.

Jimmy Johnson and the Herschel Walker trade is legend, that trade definately started a dynasty in Dallas. I just wish the same thing would happen in Washington, it should of happened when Mike Ditka gave the Redskins the Saints entire draft in 1999 plus their first round pick in 2000. Lavar Arrington and Champ Bailey are the only two players the Redskins got that turned out to be good players out of all of those picks.

Yeah, Ricky Williams. Everyone was saying at the time he was a better version of Earl Campbell. Apart form 2002 when he was playing for Miami he didn't live up to his potential which was a shame because the guy had talent.

Has there been any major trades in the leadup to the Draft, I believe it takes place this weekend?

I'm not sure what the Washington Redskins are up to, they've got rid of Griffin III and I hear they're looking to offload Cousins as well, who do they plan on having as they're Quarterback, the new season starts in four months?
