Anyway, here in the US, purple and violet are in fact considered to be the some color (or colour). Usually the term "violet" refers either to the flower by the name, or when preceded by the word "ultra."

LOL I should get Mewtwo (my friend's SC name) here, he has a pretty good British accent and spells everything in old English. Colour, grey (I think), you name it.

Many words are spelled differently in British English than American English. Many words that end with "or" are spelled the "our" (colour. armour. flavour, just to name a few), and gray is spelled grey. Also, I think they spell "jail" as "gaol."
