Washington will never go back. I get it, a spear is not connected to any one given race, but the media will spin it that way. They will avoid that at all costs.

I don't see what could possibly be wrong with the name "Chiefs"

The arrow logo and the word 'chiefs' makes it obvious it refers to an Indian boss. If 'redskins' is unacceptable its only a matter of time before Kansas City get picked upon to change their name. The world is going crazy, I personally think Kansas City's whole identity is great, it's one of the best in the NFL. It would be a shame if they had to change it.

I think the Chiefs will be fine. Yes, we all know what they are names after, but it seems to be just broad enough of a term to get away with it. Washington Redskins and Cleveland Indians will probably be the only casualties.

I can see the Atlanta Braves getting axed, too.

I forgot about them. The laughing Indian will have to go and probably the tomahawk. I'm surprised the screaming Indian hasn't been changed. That cartoony image to me looks offensive compared to the Redskins one which I still maintain is a class logo. I guess the name 'braves' would have to be changed as that could be deemed as racist as obviously refers to Indians.

I doubt the Braves will have to change their name. It seems like the media and keyboard warriors were happy with just the Redskins; Indians were an added bonus, one they didn't even try to force.
