Role Play: The Legend of Zelda

((Kushti. Let's start the show. Aaaand... ACTION!))

Chaos walked into the centre of Hyrule Castle market.
"So, you're sure it's here?" he muttered to himself. After a while, he nodded. "At the castle? No, impossible. It can't be there."
He walked into a bar and sat down.
"Pint of ale," he muttered to the barman. He looked around, and noticed that everyone was staring at him.
"What?" he snapped. "Never seen a guy with tentacles drinking a beer before?"

"Actually," a man said (Timaeus' human disguise), "not many people have seen a guy with tentacles. Especially these Hyrulians. They're used to monsters, yes, but an Octorock is the closest thing to you they've ever seen. Other than that Mandrag Ganon thing, but that's not the point."

"Great," said Chaos. "I always hated standing out of a crowd."
Chaos withdrew his tentacles into his body.
"So, what brings you to these parts?" he asked.

"Nothing special. Looks like someone's already got all the treasure 'round Hyrule, so I plan on going somewhere else for treasure-hunting." He said it like everyone was hunting treasure. "Where would you suggest?"

"What makes you think I'd know about any treasure?" asked Chaos slowly. "More to the point, what makes you think I'd tell you?"
Chaos started looking frantically around the room, clutching his head and moaning.
"In the castle," he said in a deep voice. "In the dungeons of Hyrule Castle, a great treasure awaits. It canot be claimed by mortal men, but by a great warrior. Go now, or forget your fate."
His expression went blank.
"Like I said," in his normal voice. "I don't know about any treasure."

Timaeus had a strange look on his face, but he didn't say anything about the treasure. Instead he said, "Well, I guess I'd better be going..." He got up and walked toward Hyrule Castle, relatively nervously.

As Timaeus left, Chaos muttered to himself.
"Lord Lowthos, what do you mean?" he said. "Is there something you're not telling me?"
Eventually he followed Timaeus out.
"Hold it," he said. "I'm coming with you. If what Lowthos said is true, that treasure's half mine. And believe me, you're gonna need my help.

He just shrugged as if he didn't care who Lowthos was. "Meh. The more the merrier."

Chaos followed Timeaus along the path to the castle.
"So, when we get to the castle, then what?" he asked, not speaking to Timeaus, but to himself. "Oh, okay. I understand. And then? Oh, of course."
He spoke like this for a few minutes.

After a while, Timaeus finally snapped at Chaos. "Stop talking to yourself! If you're going to talk to 'Lowthos', talk quietly, so I can't hear you!"

Chaos snarled.
"You should try some manners," he said in the same voice he had used earlier. "It's because of me that you even know about this treasure! The fact that Chaos is coming along is purely circumstancial!"
Chaos shook his head rapidly.
"What?" he asked, sounding genuinely confused. "Did you say something?"

Timaeus smiled a little. "So you've got Lowthos talking through you, eh? Well, oh well." He had calmed down really fast, even for him. "Even though it's because of you I know about the treasure, I would have found it sooner or later."

"Of course, Timaeus, whatever," said Lowthos's voice. "Whether or not that is true, you still owe me some gratitude. After all, it did seem that someone had taken all the treasure in Hyrule."
Chaos let out a sharp laugh.
"Anyway," he said in his normal voice. "Now that we're nearly at the castle, I think it's time I gave myself some elbow room!"
Chaos allowed his tentacles to extend from his back.
"Now, we need to get into the dungeons," said Chaos.

"With or without being noticed?" Timaeus asked. "With being noticed, easy. Stealthy is harder."

"You take your own way," said Lowthos. "We've got our methods. Chaos?"
Chaos nodded.
"Understood, Lord Lowthos," he said. "Shadow Shroud!"
Chaos was surrounded by darkness, and became invisible.
"We'll meet you inside," said Chaos's voice.

Timaeus shrugged. "All righty," he said, making himself invisible. Then he held out his (invisible) hand to the wall, and blew a hole in it.
"Oops, did I do that?" He grinned (invisibly) and walked through.

"What was that?" the Guards yelled frantically, waking up from their naps and trying to figure out what was happening.
"Get up!" the main Guard yelled at the others. "Get up and find what happened!"

As the guards ran out, small fireballs came down and killed them all.
"You couldn't be a bit more subtle, could you?" asked Lowthos's voice from somewhere above Timaeus.

"Nope!" he yelled from inside the castle, already sprinting down the stairs to the dungeon.

"Why did we have to bring this one?" muttered Chaos, following Timaeus. "He's too reckless. What? No I'm not! Okay, whatever you say."
He caught up with Timaeus in the dungeons.

"Well, I don't see any treasure!" Timaeus said irritably. "Where is it? And what were you talking to yoursel...Lowthos about?"
