RP: Tales of a sword

1000 years ago, a great demon made a sword, a sword that made a kindgom, it's might alone was enough, with it's wielders help, to take down anything. With that sword, a brave warrior named Demetrius Bronzebeard, founded his own kingdom and having siezed total power, divided the world into seperate realms. Many years later, he had the sword buried, because he was on his deathbed and he didn't want anyone to get there hands on it. Now, 1000 years later, the sword has been uncovered by the grandson of the one that was charged with disposing of the sword. All the best fighters in the world are now rushing towards the capital of Gardinas, to sign up for a tournament being held, the winner's prize? The sword...

Greg walked down the corridor to the sign up desk, "I'd like to sign up please Matthew" he said to the familiar desk-boy. Matthew gave him the pen and he put his name down, he then headed to see who he was facing.

Rasheek walks down the corridor and acidently bumbs into Greg "sorry man"

Greg smiled, "It's fine" he replied, "I assume you are here for the tournament then?" he asked Rasheek, "What qualifications do you have, like what tournaments and stuff have you won?"

"None to speak of" said Rasheek caustious of the mans kindness "I just need to know something...call it...soul searching"

Greg frowned, "Soul searching you say?" interesting was the only thought going through Greg's mind at that moment, "I was under the impression you were here like most are here for, the sword. Me myself, I want the sword, but I also want the respect."

A man with tremendous elemetal energy came walking by. "Excuse me,but I have to sign in." said Sion taking the pen and signing himself.

vicen walked to the head desk and grabed the pen after sion was done.
"So...uh...you guys here for the sword too?" asked vicen looking back and fourth between the paper and the people standing around him.

"I`m not here for that sword,i`m here something else." Most people here want the sword to fufill thier dreams of fame and power." coldly replied Sion.

"Well I guess that makes two of us" says Rasheek, not even knowing a sword was involved

"I`m here just to face off against some of the best warriors. But what I have sensed so far are 2nd rate." said Sion.
