I've not been ungrounded, but my parents are being less serious about it and are going easy on me. PLUS>The GIMP comp has internet again!!! This means I could start making sigs again!!
P.S.: Whenever I do the disausterate and displace on the sparks layer, it turns out solid. How come in sigs like yours Fury and most others come out transparent, with just an outline?

You have to make sure that you are using the sparks layer to displace. When you click the displace button, there is a window for x and one for y. Make sure that they are both set to the sparks layer.
