Anyway, if Jam Jar's going to tut that banner of his, I'll make a sig with similar effects. I kept saying I was gunna do more Naruto sigs but I just can't find good enough renders that'll achieve the same effect, so I'm scrapping that in the meantime, as I have lots and lots of homework. I'll be making something soon though.

Jam, you don't need to rely on tuts for that sort of thing 
Probably just needs floral brushes and some scattered dots of light. Or you can do it with the pen tool.
I looked on DA and here are a few which might be useful:

Brush a few layers with those, and blur them progressively until the foreground is sharp. You can do the background, text and scattered light.

Well, it's very good, but the right side of the render looks too smooth compared to the left. Try making it more jagged and rough, and it'll be way better. Also, the purple text is a bit too vibrant, IMO, it stands out and contrasts the rest of the sig too much.

I like your current the best.
Mind sharing the link to the chinese(?) text?
The top one looks to sharpened. But it gives a nice effect that the render is a fair way away from the BG.
As for the car sig... It looks great. I like the text in the corner and the effects look good. You even used some vector brushes in there it looks like.
But your currnt pwns. The effects are great and i like the colour of it.
Probe: It looks a bit blank on the right side. But the effects are nice. I like the text and all but try to fill in some more space.

Nice current BTW.
Sorry, I don't like the top one much, but the second one's pretty cool./ The abstract colors and lighting are perfect IMO. Good job on that one, flow's great. All the FX fit in well.

Why is it that nobody has submitted any SOTW signatures that are half-decent yet? This includes myself, since the signature is downright awful.
