That's true. Villarreal play Real Betis at home though.

You worry about this too much. We are only 1/3 of the way done with the season. Barcelona is clearly the best team. When they hit their stride, they won't be stopped.

Some reason, I think it could be Arsenal's year.

If Barcelona doesn't win it I want Arsenal to win it. They are such a historic club, it's about time they won. It would be even more amazing for them to do it in a year that they don't have Henry.

Yeah but Barcelona won, despite the refs trying to screw them over, with the disallowed goal, and the phantom foul that led to Arsenal's goal.

How you can say this when he sent the Arsenal keeper off, with just 10 minutes played, I don't know.

Okay, so lets say Lehmann doesn't get sent off. Let's say he does stop the other goals Barca scores. Now let's say that Arsenal doesn't get that terrible foul call that led to their goal. It's still 1-0. Lehmann wouldn't have been able to stop the shot from Eto'o anyways, so it would have been 2-0. He might not have been able to stop Belletti's goal in the 81st minute.

Anyway you script it, Barcelona would have won.

How is that possible, when Arsenal would have had 10 players playing football, instead of 9. I don't think you understand how difficult it is to play with less players, for 80 minutes.

That's the way I look at it. They scored twice (should have been three times if the referees were sain) on a club that had gone 995 minutes without allowing a goal. That's equivalent to 11 matches!

Well that's just too bad. Because Lehmann was an idiot. If he hadn't been, the first Barca would have counted. And the rest is speculation. You have to realize that justice was served in the end, with Barca winning the game.

Speculation......

We know one thing for sure: The better team won the game.

Not nearly as speculative as Bronco's post.

What are you talking about? There's the same amount of speculation in BOTH posts! Barcelona probably would have still won if that goal was allowed and Lehmann not ejected, but we'll never know for sure.
