Tragic Gift - Role Play

((XD, Fighting in a storm is fine, Amelia could actually get extra power from it. ))

"Well I want to try and control my power more" Amelia said, patting the horses head she was sitting on. "Anyway, we better get moving, boys!" She smiled as she tapped the horses side with her foot.

"right" Sgt. Edward replied as he increased his pace to keep up with the horse.

Rieker heeled his horse and off it ran. As they ran down the road an obstruction came into view. Two guards were standing at a fork in the road blocking their path to Nuemor. Rieker came to an abrupt halt.

"What is the meaning of this?" Blanche said calmly.

State your purpose for the use of these roads." One of the guards commanded.

"The tournament of course!" Rieker said in frustration.

"Then you must take this road." The other guard said. "Your three trials await."

"alrighty, lets get on moving" Sgt. Edward said, as he turned to walk upon the road the guards said to use.

((Alright, S5, is it ok?))

"Wait, what kind of 'trials' are we talking about?" Eitri asked.

((yeah, sure thing bud))

"I dunno, something to make sure we are serious about the torney" Sgt. Edward said, as he jogged to keep up with the horses.

"That would make sense," Luke said,"But we did take down that giant robot thing, we should be able to make it there."

"Yeah, it will be a great shame if you died from walking!" Sgt. Edward jokily said.

Dane had been following the group, wound up in his own thoughts, hardly interacting with his new found friends. Upon hearing of the trials, he attempted attempted to regain focus, and into the right frame of mind for what might lay ahead.

"Great, just as I started to think it would be a nice, calm journey" Amy sighed as she headed the other way with the rest of the group.
"I wonder what kind of trials they are, anyway" She thought.

"I don't know, but it will have to be something to test your limits" Sgt. Edward said.

"Let's just hope we all get out of them alive, if they're that bad, then" Amelia said as she kept on following the road to the trials.

The soldiers echoed a frightening tale. "One must walk through the gates of hell to face those who are long gone. However a mighty beast awaits, guarding the fiery gates."

Blanche looked at the soldiers as her clothes began to grow. Her powers were raging and she couldn't control it. Suddenly they just got cut off. Something bizarre had happened. "Let's go." she said nervously.

"Yeah." Sgt. Edward said, already noticing her clothes glowing.

Amy looked nervously at Blanche as she tapped the side of the horse to keep on moving.
"What do you think they meant by mighty beast and fiery gates?" She asked in a worried tone.

Luke replied to Amy calmly," It's likely that it's just a myth, I mean, the gates to Hell shouldn't exist on the planet."

"Heh" Sgt. Edward said, chuckling. "If the gates of hell doesn't exist, the prospect of magic shouldn't exist. But we're here by some unseen force. Some sort of magic put us here, then the prospect of Gates of Hades is possible. Hell, with magic, anything is possible" He added.

((I'm taking control of Superblobby's character, Dane for about a week, and yes, he asked me to, therefore he gave me permission))

Dane had heard the guards talk about the 'mighty beast' and 'fiery gates', he thought to himself. "This maybe a tough challenge" As he kept on following the group from behind.

Amy noticed Dane trailing behind and felt sorry for him. "Dane!" Amy shouted as she waved to him. "Come on slow coach" She smiled.

"What? That weirdo's..." He muttered loudly as he turned to see Dane. "Oh jeez, he heard me..." He said, now noticing Dane's presence.

"Hmm," Eitri muttered. "How long will this take?"
