It seems safer to do it with Revenge rather than stand in front of his attacks and wait for an opritunity to hit his arm. Just jump around him untill he leaves himself open. Then fire.

Using that attck leaves you open for his attacks there's less of a chance of being hit by using Yamato.

Except that when it hits, it stuns him for a moment. Then you hit him again.

It doesn't always stun him and if you get around 2 to 3 hit's depending on difficulty you are doing on his arms with Yamato it will stun him.

But for Yamato, you have to dodge the Savior's Arm and be at point blank range. Revenge is long range.

The saviour attacks a lot during the fight so you have more than enough chances.

Yes, but what if he destroys a few platforms and traps you on a small one? Then he can beat you around for a while before smacking you to another platform.

If you jump just before he's about to hit you then you'll dodge the attack because the moment you jump you become invincible for that time.
