The black Chocobo was the only one that could fly back in the day and the red one was the swimmer, now they go and make it so you need a super gold one just to get around.

My fav Chocobo side quest is the Chocograph side quest

Is it true that chocobos fly in FF9 or is it just for FF4 and ff5?

yeah, the gold chocobo could fly in FF9. it uses the same controls as the airship, but you need to find a forest to take off and land in (like FF4 and 5)

In the early games it was only the Black Chocobo that could fly but in the newer ones they replaced the Black Chocobo with a Gold one

I think the only game after 7 that had a Black Chocobo was Final Fantasy Tactics. Tactics also had a Red Chocobo but they gave it a super strong attack since all Chocobos in Tactics could swim in depth 2 and above waters.

Yeah and there was also black chocobo in FF5 and FF4,he was like the gold one.

And he was part of the story so their was no need to go out of your way to get a new form of transportation

Me?,hm I really liked chocobo dungeun from ff8 and I liked the races in FF10.

Yeah, Me too. I was getting kinda hyped up about the magic because FFX was on PS2. But Flare kinda let me down.

I don't have flare yet on XII but I bet it looks tottaly sweet.

If not thats OK casue all the mist actions look great.

Tell me about the Mist actions KICK @$$!,but I still think Omnislash is better,HA!.Anyway I agree that the weakest was definetly FF10,however the damage was pretty good.Oh and guys you might want to check out the news I post on the FF7 crisis core topic.
