Aeris=Jenova ?

at which point jenova used her shape-shifting ability to appear like one of them, before she unleashed the virus on the cetra. this triggered the planet to start forming the WEAPONs, but by the time the WEAPONs were completed, the cetra had already trapped jenova, so the WEAPONs lay dormant on the planet.

Its wierd now that I remember,didnt bungamhen[spelling]said that the weapons were supposed to be unleashed when the planets in crisis,I know that they help,by shooting shinra and killing-well almost killing rufus,charging at junon water base.Hey,do you think that when ultimate weapon goes to that place where cloud is sick??So was he going to...Help?.So anyway,why in the game are they bad???

I don't think that the WEAPONS really are good or bad. They are just wandering powerhouses that destroy everything they see. Remember how Ifalna said that the Planet was watching their situation very carefully? She made it sound like the planet was trying not to unleash them.

The purpose of the WEAPONS, in my personal opinion, is to act like a primitive form of holy. They don't choose what is good or bad, they destroy everything until the planet seizes control of them yet again and they return to that deep slumber they were in before. The planet won't stop them until whatever was causing it harm was destroyed.

So this means there neither good or bad?So the weapons come out when the world is in danger,so what they do is...destroy it!!.They destroy anything that they think is doing harm on the planet and leave the planet like an-Waste Land.

There are a lot of things in life that are in a gray area. Not everything is pure black or white and if it was then I wouldn't want to live on that planet.

Well,if I could have clouds swords,vincents guns,materia,summon,and well.....Tifa as my girlfriend I would live there 100%.

I just beat the game and the ending is awesome. But how come the scene after the credits is the same as the beginning scene from AC if after the credits they say it was 500 years later?

Now that I think about it.I really wouldnt want to live there.Jenova crashing down on the planet.Sephiroth wants to destroy it and revive Jenova.Three dudes want to revive sephiroth.Shinras dark secret breaks out,and hell comes loose on top.Also four dudes want to revive a infernal weapon called omega.This dude called weiss unites with omega.And now this wierd man known as G wants to destroy the world,and who knows what else he has in mind...Whats Next!??

they just decided to open the movie with the closing scene of the game

Anna-I dont exactly looks like cloud I just have the blue eyes-true.Though I dont make a big deal of having my fathers blue eyes,its normal for me.But if I had the hair I would paint my hair blonde and their you have a cloud!Anyway anyone noticed there nothing more to talk about in this topic.Maybe I should change the title of the topic-Weapons and we keep talking about them.
