can someone help me with quickenings?

I just dontget how to do it and i lost the book so can somebody help me out

If you only have one, it's gunna be hard to get a chain. If you have two, it's a bit easier. What you do, you use it, then you press whatever button corresponds with the quickening you want to use. If you can't use any, press R2 to "shuffle" them. This gives you a chance to use another one. And if you EVER have a chnace to use a mist charge, USE IT.

Tehn a chain still might be hard. Try getting another quickening with someone else.

about how many hours long is this game

There is no pre-determined amount of hours. It all depends on how quickly you move through the game and if you do any hunts or not. For me, it took about 70 hours to get to, and defeat the last boss.

Riku is correct out Quickenings. You need each person in it to have full magic and 2 quickenings for a good shot, full magic and each to have 3 Quicks for the best. If your magic isn't full with 2 each it will be hard, and if you magic isn't full, but you have 3 you should be fine.

It is really a practice makes perfect, but luck helps a lot more.

That, maybe true but being so early in the game won't do very much at this time. Of course unless he does a but load of LP training and get more quickenings. But, unless he does that I qould think its not a big deal for now and that he should focus on normal strength for now.

I have people 20 levels under my mains, but their grids are well done. While they aren't as good as my mains, the difference is minimal. Levels aren't as big a difference.

I can see that. But, I'm not talking about levels, but LP. I know levels harley have anything to do in this game, but its mainly your weapons, armor, and how you are able to adapt to this new battle system. So, what he should do if he wants to start on quickening early in the game is that, he should focus more on LP more than EXP and build up his licenes and practices using his quickenings, like just use them when ever possible even on the weak monsters so that you can get the hang of how quickenings work and how you like to do them.

try to get aleast two quickening for each character then you shouldnt really have much problem but it is random so sometimes you will get a chain of 2 or 3 and another time 10-14 my mate got a chain of 24 once! my best is 19

My best is also 19. I can't do any better.

I've had the Black Hole. I was fighting Mateus. The highest damage I've done... I think it was around 60 grand (fighting mateus). I totally owned her in one hit.

I think to get it you need to use 4 of each rank
