Shortcuts

I have a few shortcuts up my sleeve, but I doubt highly that I know all of them. I thought we could post a few shortcuts/ways to make races a whole lot easier. I mean, every level needs to have at least ONE shortcut; we just need to find it.

I know two and one i made up on bowsers catcle in nitro the one spaecially for the ds vrsion when your on the big spinning circle go all the way around and you go to a hallway that lets out when you climb the towerand the other on is in delfino plaza on the place by the water there is two crates behind them is an ally but have a booost item because its mud all the way through and on doughnut plains use any boost item to go across the huge grass areas

does anybody know the two shortcuts on delfino square.i do.

One is where you use a Mushroom to jump near the bridge, then you'll end up on the port, second, you use another mushroom to get past the muddy terrain just after the bridge.

yep i always use the one where you use a mushroom next to the bridge online.if i am using a heavy car and i havent got a mushroom then i dont take any of the shortcuts but land on the port by going to the side and then i can get a weapon.try it,it is good.

This isn't much but on Desert Hills,(Or whatever it's called)save a star until you get to the lumpy part with lots of turns. Use the star and don't turn. You'll get to the dirt but won't slow down, doing this will allow you to go strait and even use it like a ramp.

IN peach gardens, save a mushroom. When you get to a flowerbed that you have to slide around, use it to go through it.
In mario circuit, use a mushroom to go to the right of the first pipe and pirana plant, and cut off a portion of the track.
USe a mushroom in Yoshi circuit after the second turn between the two nintendo signs to jump over the grass.
in Cheep cheep beach, use a mushroom a little after the second jump to cut through the water, and use the jump button to jump over the canals, instead of the brown ramps
Donut plains- use a mushroom after the second turn to boost through the gap in the block-like wall.
Sky garden- By the part where there is a jump and an item box in the air, go straight, and use a mushroom and jump. You should land on the other side. Use a mushroom to scoot over the clouds about halfway through the course. There are also two jumps that you need to use a mushroom on.

That's all I know.

you can go over the bridge and drop down on the port to get the item box. it gives you an extra item and i use it all the time(not in first since you get crappy items and it slows you down by like 1 second)

you could also use mushrookms to get major air(sorry for the double post, but it puts all replies at the end instead of after the original post)

F8C-You kidding? none
Yoshi Falls-Take the first and third waterfalls, go around the second
CCB-Use a mushroom or two to cut through the water after the second zipper (or if you're good, you can PRB it)
Luigi mansion-none. Use a mushroom to cut throught the grass right after you exit the mansion

Desert hills-Use PRB or two mushrooms to cut through the sand behind the pyramid, or use some mushrooms to jump off the hills at the end
Delfino Square-Use a mushroom to jump off the ledge right before the bridge to land on the dock, or use it to cut through the alley right after the two boxes.
Waluigi pinball-None
Shroom ridge-use THREE mushrooms to cut through the grass before the tunnel

DK pass- Use a mushroom/star to cut through the snow after the sixth turn, or the eighth. At the top of the hill by the eight turn, there is an item box that has a mushroom ,three mushrooms, or a star in it always.
Tick tock clock-none. A hint is to use the wheels and jump at the top to go fast.
Mario circuit-Use a mushroom to cut through the sand to the right of the piranah plants in pipes.
Airship fortress-none

Wario stadium-Use PRB or mushrooms to cut around the big bumps. It saves a good bit of time.
Peach gardens-Use a mushroom/star to cut through the flowerbeds, mostly the one right after the start
Bowser castle-Go all around the spinning platform, and go through the red carpet room.
Rainbow road-Jump off the spiral at the beginning to land on the downward part of the track later NOTE: if you use this trick, your time is ineligble to be sent to the record boards

MC1-Use PRB or mushrooms to cut through any of the sand
MMF-none
PC-on the 2nd to last turn, cut through the grass. saves a little time
LC1-Use PRB off the starting zipper to cut through the sand by the chain chomp

DP1-Use a mushroom or PRB to cut through the grass near the bridge
FS-I'm not telling you this one...XD
BC2-None, A hint-At the part where the track splits into two, jump off the zipper, then ride on the ledge, then jump at the end. Saves a litle time
BP-You kidding? none

KB2-Use a mushroom to cut through the grass-like stuff.
CM-Use a mushroom at the jumps at the end to go faster
LC2-Use a mushroom to cut pretty much any turn
MB-Use a mushroom to cut through the dirt near the first tunnel

CI2-USe PRB to cut through the dirt gap in the first wall.
BB-Go left when you get into the building, and jump over the hole.
SG-Use a mushroom at the second wood ramp, don't bother with the first. It's just a mushroom waster. There are two shortcuts I'm not telling you in this one XD
YC-Use a mushroom right before the big 180 degree turn to jump over the water.
