Our own NFS Carbon game?

Havok is; I believe that in cutscenes, no matter what genre of video game, seem rehearsed, and swearing in a cutscene is always going to be the same, no matter how many times you play through the game. Havok, while swearing does make for a funny game, NFS was never meant to be like a street-racing port of Grand Theft Auto. So cut it out.

You can keep some mild swearing. But seriously, I really mean, seriously, get rid of the n!gga's, the F-words, the constant "b!tch" etc...

Swearing does not make it "Funny" or more GTA like. BILLIONS of people all over the world swear regualrly. Thats the world we live in, not the one that if you swore you'd get your a$$ tanned a dark shade of red.

The only ones I used were F*ck, Sh*t and A$$hole, there not that bad and the max rating it'll get I'd say is M and thats probably the most it could get.

MotorStorm, AI behaves differently every time, permanent damage to scenery makes for a different lap each time...that random enough for you?!

If you want to make this game more random, then make the computer-controlled opponents more aggressive, put in trackside and car damage, heck, even different numbers of opponents make for a different, "random race". Swearing does not.

I meant in cut scenes, they sound like some extremely unaware-of-the-world-around person wrote it, as if to make them say it like a dictionary.

Yeah, that's what cutscenes are. They always are rehearsed, that's why they lead up to what you need to do next. They're rehearsed. But anyway, like yossy said, mild swearing would be okay but racist comments are not.

Yes I agree, take out the F bombs and S bombs and only have a D bomb somewhere in the storyline like after u won race and Cross is amazed. No racist stuff either, or our game dream will be trashed if we ever release it...... We better scale the language down so it be E 10+ like Midnight club 3. Cuz if we got like GTA, it won't even reach the streets it would have such a trashed image...........

I definitely agree with you on that one.

Look, the 'F' word wont do crap to the rating, look at Carbon, its G and in the song Love me or Hate me by lady sovereign on the soundtrack she says "Love me our hate me its still an obsession love me or hate me that is the question if you love me then F*ck you, if you hate me then..."

Well, I can cut the swearing out. If I had submit that, the game would have been rated Mature(18+) like GTA Liberty City Stories or GTA San Andreas!

Ever heard of a word called 'censoring'?

The four letter word that starts with f and is considered coarse language does do crap for the rating. Why do you think the Grand Theft Auto games are rated MA15+ (in Australia)? Because coarse language is in every second word they say, and it's uncensored!

This song in Carbon, while supposedly containing the four letter word that starts with f and is considered coarse language, would be tough to hear in the background unless sound effects were turned right down. Therefore, Even if the sound effects were turned right down and you could hear the lyrics, the four letter word starting...you know the drill...would be cleverly masked with the POWER OF CENSORING! Muhahahahaha!

I rest my case.

I don't care if you stick some a$$'s in there. And maybe even one or two sh!ts. But get rid of everything else.

"realistic replacements". Seriously, if you think swearing is going to make a game more realistic then you are sadly mistaken. But still, I've had my point, the storyline is not my job so I'll leave you guys to work it out.

I'm now planning on the map and what will it unlock when you defeat through the hitlist racers.

Okay. I'm going to research on every car in my list. It will be in Havok's forums so check it later if you wish.

You know what would be cool. If you could track down maybe some car noised for each car.
