Have you all forgotten what I said about the part levels!? You know, with the chassis upgrades, bull bars, bla bla bla?! Here's a recap for ya:
There should be levels for parts like pushbars and car strength upgrades etc.]
level 1: standard police equipment
ex: small pushbar, normal lights and lightbars, normal police vehicle chassis body
level 2: prototype equipment
ex: SUV pushbar, longer lasting lights and lightbars, more durable chassis and body
level 3: The wildest, most long lasting, indestructable stuff! (expensive!!)
ex: Titanium Pushbars (all sizes, indestructable!!), inifinite life lights and lightbars, heavy-duty sheetmetal chassis and body, with chassis stiffening and front & rear cross braces for that extra strength.
Also, do you know how freakin' complicated the comfiguration of this game is gonna be!? It's gonna be crazier then NFS MW, crazier then NFS Carbon, with detialed and awesome game modes and menu screens made for visual and gameplay fun. The DLL and cfg files are gonna be nasty, but EA can pull off a lot as you know.
Meanwhile, I was thinking about a demolition derby mode. Yes, I really do mean a derby. Smash another dudes car or get smashed yourself. Here's what I was thinkin: Every Saturday and Sunday each PD holds an impounded vehicle derby. You go to the impound lot, look for a car, and spray paint it like a derby car! you can add police lightbars and sirens, and confederate flags and stuff, but you cant repair the car till after th derby. There should be at least 20 cars, for some real chaos! Your engine is the most important thing here- Protecit it! Front-end hits will do a lot more damage then hits the back end of ur car.
Now the arenas- Perhaps on a small, wide portion of the highway, in a ranch with a house and cars to smash, the NFS MW golf course, the RPD, BPD, and PPD stattions.
Any more thoughts/comments are welcome :-)
