Fair enough.
It's the same effect with other cars like the Honda Civic.
I have no idea why it would do this, but my only explanation possible is that the Widebody kit in adding it inadvertently removes a whole bunch of unwanted stuff as well...

Yes, but it still seems illogical in any case especially in the Zonda's case because the stock bodykit on the Zonda is carbon fibre, but in adding the Stratospeed Widebody kit it removes them and adds something which would be heavie than carbon fibre.

Partially to do with the lift that happens upon acceleration because of the force of the engine acting upon the axles and the curvature of the earth.
However, that law only goes a certain degree.
What is guaranteed, though is better handling around a circuit.

Well that's cause it only has 4 cylinders for combustion...
More combustion = more power.
The Lotus Elise (and every other model from Lotus such as the Exige and Exige S) are designed for handling and not absolute top speed performance.
However, EA being EA got it all wrong in the game.

Saw that on DVD that was cool. I love the fact that the computer on the helicopter highlights 53 or whatever targets then picks the 3 most threatening I think it is, and takes them out in 26 secs...

The thing is though...I reckon that Lotus could actually just about manage to fit a V6 in their cars if they made them ever so slightly bigger. And the good thing about a V-spec engine is that they are great for handling and because obviously the V6 has more cylinders than the Inline-4 it will have more power.
