The good, the bad.

Well? What is very good about the game, and what is uh, not so good?

like a said in another topic, The game just got boring and repetive very soon, but if new updates come, I,ll get back into it

Well:

Pros: without nit-picking, this is an OK game, it can be quite fun to play, but it's outweighed by:

Cons: Basically, If you're a die-hard NFS fan then get it, you might not be disappointed, but like davy said, it gets goring and repetitive really quickly, and it has so many fricking flaws it is not funny. An example, tuning does practically nothing unless you have version 1.2 which in the case of PC users screws up the game even more, the RX7 is obviously the "ultimate car" and they purposely made it the best drifter, no idea why; downforce is useless, the only difference a WBK makes is on the Evo X, and that makes it unable to turn properly, yeah... I'm nit-picking but I don't play it anymore. They need to step up their game with the next one.

Really, it gets boring very fast. And, they changed the game system which make it legal-racing.. I like ilegal moar.

i agree with everything that everyone said and theres one option that i wish they would put int he game, known as engine swap. eg put a camaro engine in the corrolla and watch your new creation fly

I miss the real actors with the great stories, I like the Most Wanted story best.

NFS PS once you complete the second showdown you have all cars unlocked,at least in Carbon you earned each car, and felt like you achieved more.

i hated it not as kewl as the underground series and carbon

like at the beginning i didnt know where u go to buy parts for ur car, if you can at the beginning

Pretty much what others have said yeah.
They took a serious step backwards in their physics engines and understanding of how car set-up works since their "Tips" said to have predictable handling was to have the bump, rebound and springs at the same rate which is quite frankly stupid!
The handling in general was annoying beyond belief. I can understand it in the Underground games because not only was the physics engine not as powerful at the time, but also technology was a lot different so it was expected in Underground, but in the present day you can have powerful cars (as in well over 700bhp) without TC and other electronic devices and it won't oversteer at every friggin' steering input!

Massive tip to EA: Play Gran Turismo 4.

Granted, I don't muck around with setups as much, except when it comes to gear ratios, but the facts are plain and simply correct.

Great. I was using this as a basis of whether to buy the game or not.

Didn't you have to use cash to fix your damaged car also? Most wanted IMO was the top so far.

agreed, ps there was storyline basicly race win etc.

as for carbon and mw there was a storyline, carbon well it was take over other gangs and there crews, which i enjoyed till the 3rd time when it got boring. at least it had cops.

as for MW, it was a good stress release game, no matter how many times your played it, it wasnt always the same. mainly due to the fact you have to some "FUN" with the police
and also they had much better car designs

It gets boring after you beat it, but you can play it over and over to have fun.

Yes, but you also have these "Markers" which are really more like Tokens or Vouchers if you will and there is no cost for the repair bar the Token or Voucher being used.

I loved it, no flaws.

I'll agree with you that much for the PS3, 360, Wii and possible for the PC, but PS2...Maybe not.

That's true.
In the other NFS titles, you could actually tell so much about the rendering works on it.

I kmow thats why I hated Need For Speed Underground and Underground 2 cause you could tell it wasn't real.
