Hi all, I'm new to the forum and its a great place to get info on the game, anyway, I was wondering how far into the game and what races you have to do before you are able to buy a Wide Body Kit, thanks!

You have to be quite far into the game actually. Or you could try and win loads and loads of Outrun races.

For me as soon as I got into Stage 5 (yes I tried it) I did loads of Outruns and won them ofcourse and then the SMS message came up about Unique Widebody kits.

well, i did all my outruns first, then all the hidden races, then the unsponsored races, then the URL's, and finally, the sponsor races, that way i got more money, and got 100% of the game complete.

I'd never be able to find the time to search for hidden races. They're also already listed in the World Map in the Garage once you've done that stage.

If you already got the message about getting Unique Widebody kits then probably, but if you haven't then no.

well, i had plenty of patience...and speed... so i had no problem, and btw, u dont get credit for the races u do in the garage

actually, i got the widebodies at the end of the game wen i beat caled, and hes runnin a Pontiac GTO, hes rly slow tho, i had the game on hard and i still was a half a lap ahead!!! i was runnin an RX-8, so that mite make a difference.

yeah, it told me that i have completed the game, theres no more races in that orld, and i can go bak to the garage to race or rereace sum races, and i have unlocked 100% of the performance and visual parts, so now, i have to finish the garage races, and i can race as many outruns as i want

Yeah I got that too, but it didn't allow me to get Widebody kits. So I restarted, but with a new profile and I did loads of outruns.

well, i didnt try to get them in career mode for my other cars, so i dk if it worked for that or not.

Uniques can only be applied to one of your cars usually in Career mode that is.
