Pok�mon Diamond & Pok�mon Pearl are new games that were recently announced for the Nintendo DS

Not much is known about them yet however below are the details we do know about these upcoming games:

* They are set in a region different to Kanto, Johto & Hoenn but contains old Pok�mon aswell as the new ones and is called Shinou. In which you start in Futaba Town
* You are capable of transferring your hard trained Pok�mon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed & LeafGreen to these games after certain criterea have been met in Diamond & Pearl
* There will be many new Pok�mon including new Pre-evolutions and Evolutions of Old Pok�mon. Currently 5 are known
* DP will use the DS's Wireless Capabilities and allow for up to 16 Players to be linked at once in a Union Room style situation
* There will be no new Pok�mon types but new type combinations such as Steel/Fighting

Well, since RRA has left SC, the first post of the pinned topic can't be updated.
I'll unpin that one, and pin up this one. Let's keep the new one updated.
Edit: Alright, it's done. I'm trusting Aeon to keep this up to date as the rest of us supply as much info as we can.

nice find cross stinger and those are some awesome looking attacks with the ds' 3d it should be the best looking ones yet...and also does any1 know what the writing in japanese over the 2 characters says is it there names?and is that a beret...?

Its for Diamond too you go to Pokemon Ranger region Fiorre by the way we get the game in fall thjats why Diamond aint coming out soon GIII!

I'm confused now. Ranger is in Fiorre and daimond and pearl are in shinou. How can they have the same team? Team gogo is a ranger team. I get my info at http://www.serebii.net/ranger/mechanics.shtml

You can trade Pokemon from/to Gameboy via DS without it nop combatibility occurs only trading is available.

Yes, trading between R/S/E and D/P is possible, but D/P itself won't work on a GBA.
