i think palkia doesn't look so good because of the long neck small, and not so good looking face (no offence to anyone who thinks he's cool this is just my opinion)

Im getting Diamond, the name sounds like riches to me, pearl sounds like a girls item (no offence), but all this talk about getting the game sure nuff' makes me even more impatient for this game, lol, but I have no choice but to w8 till' april 22 :D

I'm getting both because I am just like Mummification and King 26 I want to complete the pokedex and I also like the different pokemon each version offers. Initially it was Diamond though because Dialga aka Diaruga is the hotness.

depends on personal thoughts. its like ruby and saphire you either get groudon or kyogre,along with other pokemon duals that you get one color in one game another color in the other and have to trade(which is a genius idea because then you have to buy more games to get every pokemon).
