It's not impatience you fool, I've explained before I had the chance to get it early and play it, so I did, lol.
Still, I beat Falkner a while ago and his Pidgeotto is lv13, still not right level, but either way Quilava wiped him out, stupid thing was his pokemon used Roost whenever it dropped below 3/4 health.
Bad thing is as well is that Oak's assistant who gives you the Togepi egg isn't showing up in the pokemon centre and I've got no idea what to do as I've done everything I can do at the moment without obtaining the egg, making progress impossible at the moment.

You don't get it do you? I could wait for it, and I willingly would for an American release so I could dl that, but I don't see the problem in getting the Japanese version, yes I can't understand it but either way I've English patched it so pokemon names come up English as well as other stuff, and I'm not gonna be understanding anything story wise, I'm just gonna be going off what I remember from G/S/C. As I said theres no impatience here, I just wanted to take a look at it now.
And if that made no sense don't worry I don't think I get what I said either.
Regardless I've got the Togepi egg and I've also seen a Kimono sister, she said something to me and then walked off, dunno where to exactly but hopefully the other 4 will do the same and all go to Ecruteak(sp?) city.
And so far everything looks way better, the battle menus, the pause menus, basically everything is awesome, I can't see why Platinum didn't get some of the features in HG/SS.

She wants to be a Dark type trainer deep down, but there aren't that much in Kanto or Johto.

She could have just got another Houndoom or something. Most of the other Elite Four members have more than one of the same pokemon.

Well, Vileplume is kinda sinister... I mean, it can learn various poison-type attacks... Plus, it IS Vileplume...

Still kinda odd, Koga would've been a better fit for it. But after you beat Red she gets some newer Dark types.

She would've been better off with Ghosts, in my opinion. Ghosts and Dark-types go hand-in-hand, after all.

But she's the only person that has Dark types, there isn't a gym for it. Besides there's already a Ghost gym. She gets a Spiritomb anyway...

it is epic.i'm heading towards cherrygrove for the first time.the battle graphics are awesome. i picked a cyndaquil who is quite good.unlike pooly i'm not using the patch and am going through in full japanese.and i have no knowledge of japanese except arigato...
